I would like to add Forms to the list.

We currently use Formidable Forms in our website and it only connects to Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (365), meaning that it's not really possible to guarantee the best possible protection of personal information.

How fitting would it be if we could use a form (embedded on the website for instance) and connect it to a spreadsheet, all in the same environment where privacy is the focus?

I think this would be really useful for folks trying to incorporate Proton more into their overall Internet usage. I currently use Numbers on Mac, which isn't as robust as excel, but even having some limited functionality in a web application would be useful, even if more complex work needs to be done offline.

Please desperate for a spreadsheet alternative! Trying to divest as much from google as possible.

As everyone else is saying, I desperately need a spreadsheet app to get off Google. I personally don't need slides.

Not having sheets available in Proton Drive is what prevents my whole family from signing up to family offer. Would attract a *LOT* of new clients willing to leave Google.... but cannot because they presently collaborate in Google Sheets on well established processes...
Would be GREAT to prioritise this ASAP.

I would make a full switch if I had a real alternative to Google Docs or Word, where I can write and format documents to use at University. But right now I can't even add a Citation or format the page to a DIN A4 format with numbering on the pages etc., so the most basic features are missing and should really be added.

This is a must have! If proton were to provide full office suite, then I'd be able to completely de-Google my personal work.

For business use, there would have to be support for integrations with third party tools via a public Proton API or SDK, similar to what's available with Google tools. E.g. proton sheets with Zapier or a custom Python script.

All comments are in the same direction, if we want to empower Proton, we need Proton to do this for the users, who btw support PROTON with their subscriptions.

I think Proton is my best answer to switching from Google Drive, but I need spreadsheets to live (I'm not even exaggerating), so I will wait.

Integrate Collabara Office. Having Proton and Collabara collaborating (no pun intended, lol) would be great.

They have already done the lion's share of the development, and us users get an open source, full-featured office suite better than Google Docs.

AND please fix word doc. Conversions. They are never close to accurate and I have to spend a bunch of time going through them all in Proton Docs. To get them similar

This is critical before I can fully make the switch to Proton.

I see Proton has docs and was anticipating switching from google drive to proton (and paid the annual subscription to Pro)... then realized when starting to import all my stuff that there is not a "sheets" or "spreadsheet" feature! :O. This is a major con to proton. At the very least a basic sheets feature, sortable, math functions, text wrapping etc would be huge. I also love the "tables" feature in google sheets where you can make customized drop down lists in cells.

Just make sheets dont worry about slides there is a million different slide making apps out there.

Sheets is the number one thing lacking from the Proton Universe. The lack of Sheets is what is keeping me stuck with my Google Account and having two Drives running at the samw time.

Proton Sheets is critical to move everything to Proton Drive. Otherwise I can't move over all my excel/sheets docs....
