To complete a truly independent, privacy‑first digital life, I’m missing three key productivity tools that are currently only available from US‑based providers:
1. ProtonCalc – a web‑based spreadsheet editor (compatible with Excel/Google Sheets formats) that stores files in Proton Drive. I would use it for personal budgeting, expense tracking and simple data analysis.
2. ProtonPresent – a lightweight presentation builder that lets me create and deliver slide decks stored in Proton Drive.
3. ProtonPhoto – an integrated photo/video hub within Proton Drive that automatically syncs media from my phone and offers basic editing/organising tools.
Having these three capabilities would allow me to retire both my Google account and Microsoft 365 subscription entirely, consolidating all my personal data under Proton’s umbrella.
