Complete Proton Docs with Proton Sheets and Slides.
Proton Docs is good and all, but could we please have some sort of spreadsheet and slideshow apps? Also, Proton Docs needs work, I can't even move images

The only feature keeping me from leaving Google entirely. Don't need slides, just sheets please!

I'm assuming sheets can be used by everyone and should come first. I never have a need for slides tho

Hello, I want to collect data from potential clients, speakers etc. A critical tool that I'm trying to replace is Google Forms. I would love a Proton alternative 🙏

The only reason that I do NOT in any way use Proton Drive (which I really want to do, to get away from Google completely!) is because it has no spreadsheet feature. Please add this essential feature.

Even adding spreadsheets to Drive would make this product hugely more attractive to new users.
You don't need to implement fancy stuff right away, like non-integer optimization. -

How can you have an office suite without spreadsheets?

u should be able to use libreoffice, which is foss and wouldnt be proprietary behind a even higher sub cost.
I disagree completely making this a thing for Proton.

Please, this is probably by far and above the single most important feature that can possibly be added into the Proton ecosystem. Google is quickly evolving into a truly sinister company and yet the power and convenience of their docs/sheets/slides/etc makes it hard to not continue using them.
I've been using Proton since the beginning and am a Visionary account holder, and this is the last missing element for me that would spur me to fully delete my google account and only use Proton for everything. Thank you, I seriously hope this can be done sooner than later.

I have jumped from the Google sphere a few years back. I've been using Libresheets since then which is less than ideal for obvious reaons. Proton sheets would not only make my life more manageable, but many others. It's an essential component of online based productivity suite.

I think of Gmail Auto forwarding as a temporary solution until you can fully migrate into proton mail.
Email is pretty important and hard to migrate, you’ll have thousands of accounts linked to it, thousands of people who know you by that email.
Migrating all of that takes time maybe even years to be 100% sure that you got everything off - So having Auto forwarding makes sense there.
Drive on the other hand is a single download/upload and you’re done. Having a full migration/syncing service is imho overkill for such. Spending that time on a linux client and/or actual sheets is way more useful.

Google Sheets is one of the only things I am still stuck using at Google. Please introduce a Proton Sheets equivalent so I can finally leave Google for good!

Slides would be nice, but sheets is critical. Can't move from Google Workspace until Proton has this.

To fully replace Google Docs/Sheets, we really need Excel support in Proton — otherwise, it’s impossible to migrate all documents.

But Proton Mail still has autoforwarding from Gmail?

I don’t think syncing via easy switch is any useful. Google is still harvesting your data.
It also may not be as easy to implement as mail easy switch. The time it will take to implement drive easy switch will be better spent on actual Sheets.
I don’t think they are far away from having sheets into drive as they’re very business focused at the moment as we saw with Proton Meet. Sheets shouldn’t be far away as it is a business essential.

Update: Sync with Google Drive via Easy Switch and piggyback off their Sheets for the time being?
Comment how you feel about this.
Until they make their own Sheets.

you should be able to mount proton drive as a virtual drive on linux, as Google Drive allows.
this function is becoming essential today. -

I would like to add Forms to the list.
We currently use Formidable Forms in our website and it only connects to Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (365), meaning that it's not really possible to guarantee the best possible protection of personal information.
How fitting would it be if we could use a form (embedded on the website for instance) and connect it to a spreadsheet, all in the same environment where privacy is the focus?

I think this would be really useful for folks trying to incorporate Proton more into their overall Internet usage. I currently use Numbers on Mac, which isn't as robust as excel, but even having some limited functionality in a web application would be useful, even if more complex work needs to be done offline.
