Proton Slides.
Some sort of presentation/slides app
As mentioned in the previous update on this feature, it is now being edited to be a request for slides.
Please feel free to undo your vote if this is not something you want included in Proton Drive.

DOCS:
Please no more double spacing only.
Please drop a desk top app so a browser is not needed for doc. edits
AND please fix word doc. Conversions. They are never close to accurate and I have to spend a bunch of time going through them all in Proton Docs. To get them similarGreat product and keep it up! Very pleased but really want these adjustments.
And sheets… please.

This is critical before I can fully make the switch to Proton.

I see Proton has docs and was anticipating switching from google drive to proton (and paid the annual subscription to Pro)... then realized when starting to import all my stuff that there is not a "sheets" or "spreadsheet" feature! :O. This is a major con to proton. At the very least a basic sheets feature, sortable, math functions, text wrapping etc would be huge. I also love the "tables" feature in google sheets where you can make customized drop down lists in cells.

Sheets is the number one thing lacking from the Proton Universe. The lack of Sheets is what is keeping me stuck with my Google Account and having two Drives running at the samw time.

Proton Sheets is critical to move everything to Proton Drive. Otherwise I can't move over all my excel/sheets docs....

Yes please consider adding Sheets. I just got started with Proton and it's all great so far except for the lack of Sheets... going to be stuck with my Google account for those until they're implemented.

Proton Sheets would be an excellent addition, especially if the files can be exported to Excel and/or CSV formats.

Only if the formats are either Open Source or can be downloaded to our computers for backup AND edited offline. Currently the Docs can't do this, so anything you create in Proton Drive is stuck there.

Have we received confirmation that Proton developers are in receipt of our idea?

According to recent interviews and statements by the CEO, there are no plans to start working on Proton Sheets anytime soon.

Hi everyone! I have an idea: why not use LibreOffice Online as a base? You could build on top of it—just like Collabora does—and avoid reinventing the wheel.

Maybe power the sheets with functions like on airtable or baserow

I have successfully migrated the email, DOCS, and password manager, but I haven't migrated Google Sheets yet. I am still operating Google Sheets through my Google account.
As a company, we want to move on from Google Workspace and are looking for alternatives. So far, Proton looks like the most promising option. Unfortunately, an alternative to Google Sheets is essential for us, so we are currently stuck with Google.
Proton Sheets is crucial. I believe it's one of the main reasons people haven't fully made the switch. Many of us, including myself, rely on Sheets for managing business information. It would be reassuring to know that it's more secure with Proton.

Proton Sheets is a must, I think it's one of the few things preventing people from fully making the switch, and lots of people including myself use sheets for handling their business info like bookkeeping, client accounts, payroll, etc. So it'd be nice knowing it's more secure with Proton. Slides is less important imo
