Folders in Photo Album
I love that you can put photos from e.g. one trip in one Album. I would love it even more, if I could further sort them in different folders (i.e. Museum, Beach, trip to city XY).

I have a huge library of photos, all photos organised by folder YEAR / NAME. I don't want to see them all in one place without having ability to sort them. I do appreciate some automation or AI which can surface them from the folders to me but as added value, not default approach.
Another issue is with recent photo uploads. I would manually move them to folders once they synced to my PC (as described above). And the reason is not just plain folder sorting, but also moving various photos to other places - I take photos as notes, I take photos of receipts or invoices, etc. These may be stored in documents folders or elsewhere.
So in summary, a simple folder approach for storing photo files!

While in "Photo", having the possibility to MOVE PHOTO TO ALBUM (not only add to album) to be able to classiry photos in albums more easily (just like a mailbox) and avoid the section "TOUS" which is quite useless when we have 10000 photos names differently from different support.
Currently Albums work just like tags. It would be good if twe can also use them as folders. -

The ability to manage image files in folders is a must have. Albums are nice for organizing how images can be viewed. But creating albums after uploading/backing-up thousands of image files, currently nicely organized in directories/folders, to one common 'photos' directory/folder is not nice. It would be nice to upload/backup image files and directories/folders of image files to the 'photos' folder on Proton Drive. And then create albums for viewing and sharing. Currently I have image files are backed up to Proton Drive, nicely organized in folders/directories, but it is just a backup of files.

I would love to have not only "albums" but actual file folders where I can store trips or certain memories by type, etc. and find them similar to OneDrive in a "folder"

Or maybe tag them and show all occuring tags below the album title.
