Proton Docs Tabs
Tabs on the left hand side like in Google Docs. Or you could call them pages if you want to be different

I use that function so much, it's making me struggle quite a bit to transition from Google to Proton Drive...

Just to add to the sentiment. This is an intrinsic part of my workflow as both an agency owner and content developer and and I'd love to be able to switch my personal and agency workflow over to proton, but that's impossible without a bit more feature parity. 🥲

It would be so helpful to have a Tabs feature inside Proton Docs, similar to the Tabs in Google Docs. This is especially helpful for design and management of long term projects.

I would like to request the addition of internal tabs within a single Proton Docs document. Currently, most office suites (including Proton Docs) treat each document as a standalone file, which can make managing related content cumbersome.
Proposed Functionality:
- Allow users to create and switch between multiple tabs or sections within a single document file.
- Each tab would contain separate content (e.g., "Instructions," "Main Report," "Sources"), but all would be saved, shared, and version-controlled as one cohesive file.
- Users should be able to navigate between tabs seamlessly, similar to how G****e Docs allows multiple sheets or sections within a single document.
Example:
Document: Client Project
- Tab 1: Project Brief
- Tab 2: Progress Report
- Tab 3: References & SourcesThis feature would make Proton Docs even more competitive.
For lot of my friends and co-worker it's a game changer features.
Thanks so much for considering this feature.

Please add support for document tabs in Proton Docs, similar to the recent feature in Google Docs. This allows dividing a single document into multiple tabbed sections (with optional sub-tabs, emojis, and easy reordering), making it much easier to organize and navigate long documents, projects, or knowledge bases without needing separate files.
It would greatly improve usability for complex docs (e.g., reports, notes, or collaborative projects) while keeping everything in one encrypted file.
