local album to proton album
The new Albums are awesome, however having to manage albums in my phone gallery and proton manually is a major design flaw. Please make it so one can sync specific local folders to proton-folders automatically, so they can be shared. This slightly cuts into this: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932839-proton-drive/suggestions/49920087-shared-photo-library

I love that Proton is adding new useful features. There are some basic functions missing from Photos/Albums:
1. The current way to populate Albums is very clunky.
2. It would be great if pictures on the PC organized into folders would automatically create and populate albums.
3. In order to organize Albums it is critical that the user is able to arrange them by either date or alphabetically. Every type of organization (paper folders, file folders, contacts, etc.) allows for alphabetic organization. This should be an option. Barring that the user should be able to drag & move Albums.
4. Also nice would be a way for Photos to flag duplicates.
5. Tagging ability is also important. -

I would love this as well. I sort all my photos on my phone before they are uploaded. I would prefer to not have to sort them again.

Definitely a must have! The albums on Proton Drive should reflect local albums/folders to prevent having to organize photos twice. Also, when restoring photos from Drive to the local device it should sync the photos back with the same album structure. I feel like this shouldn't be a major feature request since we can already select the albums we want to sync from our local device

I think this is really important. I want to share selected photos with some people and I want to do this on my phone and have Proton Drive automatically sync that into my cloud.
