Preserve Photo Metadata
When syncing photos, it would be better if it also created the folders being synced to save having to create them in Proton Drive and move your pictures to it. Also, make it a true sync so if I delete photos from my device, it also removes them from PD.
More importantly. Please preserve the metadata of the original file. It's really important to have your photos with the time and date stamp of when they were taken, and also the location information. This is crucial when restoring your files.

I agree with you 100% with regards to metadata and having Proton Drive recreate Albums that exist in iOS Photos app; both are critical.
However, wanting the two-way sync defeats the object of data backup. The whole point of a backup is to be able to access files deleted elsewhere by accident.

I completely agree with you. I'd like to be able to see the metadata of the photos in Proton Drive. Otherwise, there's no point in uploading the photos to Proton.

In the android app it seems that the photo metadata is preserved including location, EXIF etc.
