    agree about the metadata, but the absence of the two way sync is why like use Proton Drive for photos. clearing photos off my phone shouldn't mean they are lost forever

    I see from the comments two separate requests are conflated. Fixing dates and metadata is important for scanned-in physical photos! Also it really helps to be able to add a brief phrase of context etc, especially if the photo is shared with others.

    I was searching for a request like this, or how to make one. this initial request is almost 2 years old! I can see how editing metadata might be problematic with the encryption, but adding an extra description need not be.
