Export photos out of Proton Drive
Please add photo export feature at least in proton drive app for desktop. I want to be able to have an option to stop paying for the subscription(due to payment hurdles for example) and not lose my data

Extremely important feature IMO. I want to migrate all my photos into Proton Drive's photos feature to benefit from albums, etc.
However, I don't want to risk getting in a situation where I can't export my data out of the service in the future, forcing me to be stuck with the service. So the best solution for now is to keep everything in My Files, so that at least I have a way to easily export my data if it's needed in the future.

So Proton is now keeping my *******? why cant we export the photos we've uploaded.
After uploading years worth of photos to Proton, now I want to export them to self host as a secondary backup, there is no way for me to actually do this?
Even selecting multiple photos (several months at a time) and trying to download them just crashes the browser.

Weird, just found out this feature is not in here. Feels like someone just forgot to put this in here...

It would be great to have a google-like "Takeout" service to be able to make local backups of the image library.

There is an Album-by-Album download through Proton Drive (it pulls a .zip containing the contents of each album). You can also select the first photo, scroll to the end, 'shift click' and download all your photos. A more direct 'Takeout' feature should be on the roadmap.
