I currently need to use the Onyx Boox drive for cloud storage -- would definitely prefer to use the Proton account that I trust.

For text and highlight colour selection you have to click to pull up the pull-down menu and then click to select/apply the colour.
Once selected the same colour should be one-click to apply to subsequently selected text rather than having to click for the pull-down list and then selecting the colour every time. You should only call up the pull-down menu when you want to change to another colour.
