For text and highlight colour selection you have to click to pull up the pull-down menu and then click to select/apply the colour.
Once selected the same colour should be one-click to apply to subsequently selected text rather than having to click for the pull-down list and then selecting the colour every time. You should only call up the pull-down menu when you want to change to another colour.

I currently need to use the Onyx Boox drive for cloud storage -- would definitely prefer to use the Proton account that I trust.

You can select all photos and then click "Download" to save a big zip file so I suppose this function -is- present.
But since the "other" systems have an "export" function for the entire library this seems more intuitive to some people. Perhaps if the "download all" function was more apparent somehow it would be OK as it is.
