I fully support this idea. From my experience building a kitchen renovation website https://oakvillekitchenexperts.com/, I constantly rely on video walkthroughs and project showcases, and it would be a huge upgrade if Proton Drive files could embed directly into WordPress pages or even Vimeo-style players.
It would be great to also see:
* Direct embed code (iframe or oEmbed support) for Drive videos
* Optimized streaming so videos don’t need full downloads before playing
* Thumbnail previews + custom thumbnails for better presentation on websites
* Bandwidth-friendly adaptive playback for longer renovation videos
* Simple “copy embed link” option right from Proton Drive
* Better support for WordPress blocks so videos can be dropped in like YouTube/VimeoFor content-heavy sites like my kitchen renovation website, this would make Proton Drive much more practical as a real media hosting solution rather than just storage.
