I’d like to propose a single feature that would improve Proton Drive:

Idea: Add free‑form tags (Topics or controlled vocabularies such as AAT) that can be attached to any file or folder. Photos included.

Why it matters:

• Most users and certainly the professionals often have assets spread across many project folders; tags let them locate related items without moving files.
• Tags act as lightweight metadata, enabling better project tracking and reporting.
• Proton Mail already uses labels; extending a similar concept to Drive creates a consistent experience across the Proton suite.

Suggested implementation (high‑level):

• Store tags as encrypted metadata on the client side, preserving zero‑knowledge.
• Add an “Add Tag” option in the file‑context menu.
• Support bulk‑tagging by selecting multiple items → “Add Tag”.
• Take into account later Topic Map extensions like Occurrences and Associations
