Proton Sheets: Ctrl + Semicolon Date shortcut
Add a shortcut available on Excel and Google Sheets, where Ctrl+Semicolon allows for the date format to be inputted in the format that the user has already selected for that cell.

For me that's basically a no-go without current date insertion. Everything supports this shortcut out-of-the-box, from proprietary products to LibreOffice. It's so common operation that using a spreadsheet without it is impossible.
