OneDrive Known Folder Move–like feature for Windows
Please add a Windows feature equivalent to Microsoft OneDrive’s Known Folder Move (KFM), allowing users to seamlessly sync their Windows Desktop, Documents, Pictures, and Downloads folders to Proton Drive.
Ideally, users should be able to:
Automatically redirect the standard Windows folders to corresponding folders inside Proton Drive.
Keep the same folder structure and files synchronized across multiple Windows PCs, without separating files by computer under “My computer.”
Have applications continue using the standard Windows folder paths without requiring manual shortcuts or workarounds.
Configure this centrally for multiple devices, ideally through Windows Group Policy or other enterprise-friendly deployment options.
Retain Proton Drive’s end-to-end encryption and on-demand file access.
This feature would make Proton Drive a much more practical replacement for OneDrive for users who want both seamless Windows integration and end-to-end encrypted cloud storage.
For example, a file saved to Documents on one PC should automatically be available in Documents on every other configured PC, with no manual file movement or device-specific folder structure.
