Subject: Feature Request – Insert Current Date / Dynamic Date Field in Proton Docs

Dear Proton Team,

I would like to request a feature for Proton Docs that is standard in most word processors:

REQUEST: Ability to insert the current date via keyboard shortcut or menu option, preferably as a dynamic field that updates automatically when the document is opened.

USE CASE:
I frequently use document templates (contracts, offers, letters). Currently, any date embedded in the template remains static. When reusing a template weeks or months later, I must manually update every date field. A dynamic date field would eliminate this repetitive task and prevent errors.

PREFERENCE:
- Ideal: Dynamic date field (auto-updates on document open)
- Minimum acceptable: Static insert of current date at cursor position (like most other editors)

SHORTCUT SUGGESTION:
Common alternatives in other tools: Ctrl+Alt+Shift+D or similar combination.

This feature would significantly improve efficiency for template-based workflows, especially for business users.
