Error when packaging Proton Drive for nixpkgs (macOS only)
I'm working on packaging Proton Drive for nixpkgs (specifically mac-drive as a binary installation, since nixpkgs has limited support for building Xcode projects). However, the application fails to launch with the error: "This application must be run from the /Applications folder. Please move it there and run it again."
This error originates from the check at https://github.com/ProtonDriveApps/mac-drive/blob/d4e01064943a52afbad8af23b4e2d36fad11f284/ProtonDrive-macOS/ProtonDriveMac/AppDelegate.swift#L59-L66.
In Nix, applications are built in the Nix store (typically
/nix/store/...) and then symlinked to their final location, which prevents them from residing directly in/Applications. This hardcoded path requirement makes Proton Drive incompatible with Nix-based package management.Could you…

EDITED: Sorry, this may be misplaced, but here goes: I cannot get Proton Drive to install on my HP ENVY x2 - 12-e011nr laptop. It's an ARM 64 bit laptop (running Windows 10 for ARM), but when I try to run the official installer for ARM (1.10.1), Windows says "This app can't run on your PC"
I've tried to run it as a local user, and an administrator, and I also ran the compatibility troubleshooter. No-go. Really disappointed with this

SSO for uservoice
I am a paid Proton user and needed to create an account to login to protonmail.uservoice.com. This needs to be SSO and not a separate login.
2 votesUservoice is a third-party platform; as such, you need to create a separate account to use it. Thanks.
