1. Favouriting/bookmarking specific folders to quickly access from a dashboard/homepage (mobile app)

   At current, the Proton mobile app is very lacking in features that made its competitors much more useful. One such feature is the ability to bookmark specific folders saved in the Drive that can be quickly accessed from the first screen you are presented with when opening the app.
   At the moment, when navigating through file folders in the app, it seems like half the folders don't even seem to load. I do not know why this happens, but it's persisted through multiple devices running the latest version of the app, and it makes getting to frequently sought-for folders frustrating without some kind of shortcut system. The proposed idea would circumvent this issue at least when returning to frequently needed directories.

2. openstack

   I have noticed several requests for Linux integration functionality. Many Proton users also run personal server devices like NAS (Synology, etc) or Linux configs. The ability to connect between ProtonDrive and these devices is important (some may say, critical) to maintain privacy and security.

   In that light, support for one or more of Webdav, Openstack Swift, and/or rsync... (yes, I am a Synology user and would like to be able to sync certain share folders with ProtonDrive for secure remote access and backup)...

3. Native macOS Profile Folder Redirection (Desktop, Documents, etc.) to Proton Drive

   Requesting native support for redirecting macOS user profile folders, such as Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Pictures, and other standard home folders, into Proton Drive. Similar to how iCloud Drive and OneDrive offer “Desktop & Documents” integration.

   Use case / problem:
   Today, Proton Drive works well as a secure storage location, but it does not integrate deeply with the macOS file system. This means files saved to common locations like Desktop or Documents do not automatically sync to Proton Drive unless users manually move them. For many users (families and small businesses especially), this creates friction and increases the risk that important files are never backed up or encrypted.

   Proposed behavior:

   Allow users to optionally enable profile folder redirection during Proton Drive setup or in settings.

   When enabled, macOS folders (Desktop, Documents, etc.) would transparently sync to Proton Drive.

   From the user’s perspective, saving a file to Desktop or Documents would automatically sync and be end-to-end encrypted in Proton Drive.

   This could mirror existing patterns used by iCloud Drive and OneDrive, while maintaining Proton’s encryption model.

4. Proton Docs: support for maths expressions

   Proton Docs is already a great tool, and I think it would be nice to add maths formula and expressions with a LaTex, MathJax or any other syntax. So we should be able to create a math block with the UI as for a code block, or with the markdown syntax ($$).

6. Sharable links to be used in HTML tags, like img or audio

   I wanted to host my artistic art here (MP3 and PNG, as I compose and draw) to share them on my personal website. However, the shared links aren't compatible for HTML tags. Google Drive also has this issue.

7. Add RTL support for Proton Sheets and Proton Docs

   Proton Sheets and Docs currently only support Left-to-Right languages.
   RTL languages cannot be properly used.
   Some examples of what this means:
   - RTL Spreadsheet orientation (Column "A") is on the right side of the screen)
   - RTL paragraph attributes for text for text to be properly aligned and displayed with mixed RTL and LTR characters (e.g. language with numbers / English).
   - Printing orientation of gutter location and pages order.
   - RTL Tables objects orientation
   - BiDi (Bi-directionality) support when editing mixed text
   - Formulas-aware RTL (e.g. =LEFT() takes the beginning of a string, regardless if it is first or last chars in the language).

8. Please make Proton Drive available in F-Droid

   Unlike Proton Authenticator, Pass, VPN, and Lumo apps, which are available in F‑Droid, it’s sad that Proton Drive is still unavailable there. I really miss this app to have all Proton apps from F‑Droid.

    For such an advanced and secure mail app, I cannot believe that you still do not offer simple SORTING: by sender, by subject line, by message content, etc.
    Am I missing something, or have you just not gotten around to adding this simple feature yet?

12. Allow download of Photos via Proton Drive Windows app

    For photos that are stored in Proton Drive allow these to be downloaded via the Proton Drive Windows app and made available offline. This will allow me to store a copy of my phones on my PC.

13. Logarithmic charts inside Sheets

    Currently, chart axes in Proton Sheets only support a linear scale. This makes it very hard to read charts where values span a wide range — for example, a bar chart with a few large values (e.g. rent, investments) and many small values (e.g. subscriptions, insurance) in the same dataset. The small bars all end up compressed near the axis and become visually indistinguishable, even though the underlying differences between them matter to the user.

    Adding an option for a logarithmic axis scale (similar to what Google Sheets and Excel offer) would let users compress the large values and expand the small ones, making the full dataset readable in a single chart instead of having to split it into multiple charts or manually rescale the data.

    Suggested implementation: a toggle/dropdown in the chart editor (e.g. under axis settings) to switch an axis between "Linear" and "Logarithmic," available at least for bar/column and line charts.

17. Proton Sheets: allow relative references in data validation functions, or allow fns like INDIRECT() and ROW() in data validation context

    I'm trying to find a way to create dynamic dependent dropdowns in Proton Sheets WITHOUT creating individual data validation rules per row. It could be that I simply haven't found solutions that are already possible with existing features. I'm finding that the usual solutions from other spreadsheet software don't work in Proton due to peculiarities of how data validation is handled. It seems like cell references in validation functions are always absolute, which makes it hard to set up validation that can simply be dragged down a column when the validation is dependent on a value in another column but same row. ROW() and INDIRECT() also don't work as expected within data validation functions -- it's as though they're evaluated in a separate context, so they return nothing, or return 0. If there's already a good way to solve the dependent dropdowns problem without needing a validation rule for every single row, it would be great if it could be added to the documentation.

19. Sheets - Drop Down UI Improvements and Color-Coding Options

    The ease of creating and editing drop down menus in Google Sheets is so far unmatched by Proton and is keeping me in the Google ecosystem.

    Making changes to Google Sheets dropdowns is very easy and intuitive - when selecting a cell, each dropdown option is displayed on its own line, with the option of dragging and dropping to change order and edit the options as their own fields, rather than fields being comma-delimited - and there is the ability to color-code each field so that the contents are easy to differentiate, rather than the current Proton setup simply being plain text over the color format of the cell. It probably seems like a small change but would be an immense relief for me - it's really just a few small but important details keeping me with a foot in Google.

    In Microsoft Excel, when one opens a spreadsheet, it opens to where you were when you saved it.
    Google Sheets lacked this functionality, but you could work around it with a script that would open the sheets to the bottom of each page.
    Proton Sheets has neither option...and it's a bit of a pain, as I've an extensive (and complex) bank ledger going back 20 years with a dozen tabs and over ten thousand lines on the main page.
    So I ask - beg, plead, grovel on my knees on broken glass - please, for the love of all that is shiny, add the ability to open a Proton Sheet where you left off, rather than defaulting to the top of the sheet.
