    I suggest adding basic image annotations, text insertion, and similar features.

  2. Sync disk in ubuntu to proton Drive automaticly with for instance Insync

    I use Google docs and sync everything I define from ubuntu disk to Google Drive. Something similar in Proton Drive.

  3. Use QR code to share files/folders

    QR codes for sharing Proton Drive files/folder URLs. It would make sharing links from a desktop to phone MUCH easier. Not to mention safer. I'm using an online QR code generator. God only knows what they are doing with that data.

  4. We should be able to edit a file publicly

    We can, now, edit a .docx file from Proton Drive. That's great! But... collaboration is, currently, only possible with registered users and that's a problem because:

    1. everyone doesn't have a Proton account;
    2. everyone doesn't want a Proton account and that's okay.

    Nonetheless, we should still be able to edit a file together, just like Google Drive/Docs does it.

  5. partnership for outbound faxes, and maybe even inbound too

    Every so often it would be helpful to have Proton support at least an outbound fax even if not inbound fax communication. As an aside I noticed today that the terms of service for Alohi SA which offers the Fax.Plus service specify that the company is incorporated under the laws of Switzerland.

    Plz create a proton sync addon for thunderbird.
    i am an Archlinux user of your services (subscribe) and unfortunately your services for this OS are really poor or non-existent

  7. Add scroll bar in photos view

    Would be great to have a scroll bar in Proton Photos. I have lots of pictures and have to swipe the screen 900 times to get to the pics at the bottom of the list. With a scroll bar, I could "swipe" the screen once and get to the bottom.

  8. independent calendar and drive apps for windows that you don't have to access on the web

    new separate downloadable apps, so it isn't just web based (like with vpn), for Drive and for Calendar for windows. having to go online and then upload files that way is beyond cumbersome.

  9. Proton Drive as an option to backup whatsapp chats

    Whatsapp currently only offers Google drive as an option to backup chats on a regular cadence. Would be nice to have Proton drive as an option available to do this backup for the chats.

  10. Would love a way to tag uploaded files on a per-device basis

    If I have multiple devices (say, a personal phone and a work phone) logged into the same Proton Drive account with Camera Upload turned on, it would be great the be able to define a tag for each device on the Photo-Backup in the description field.

  12. Sync folders across devices

    Main reason why I am still using OneDrive is that I need to keep folders on 2 PCs synced and local (on both PCs). Proton does not seem to allow this. Or at least it seems to allow this only for files that were initially uploaded to cloud, but not for folders that were added on one of the PCs.
    The idea is that I sync folders on PC1 to Proton, then on PC2 I "link" that folder on PC1 to respective location on PC2 (ideally with option to link each individual folder from PC1 to individual folder on PC2,…

  14. Open PDFs in other apps on Android

    The current PDF viewer integrated into the Android version of Proton Drive is very insufficient for viewing PDF files.

    I would like to have an option to open PDF files in another app when accessing PDF files in my Proton Drive.

    See: "Open in another app" feature in the Android version of OneDrive.

    Currently a way around this is to download the PDF file locally, then navigating to the Adnroid File Manager, finding the downloaded file and opening it in a PDF viewer of your choosing.

  15. Right click context menu to manage files folders and links

    Add an extension that allows you to upload a file/folder directly to the cloud using the context menu and create a share link straight away.

  19. Do not create new file if nothing is changed

    If I go to Drive > New > New document, but do not make any changes to that document before closing the tab, do not create a new file. Maybe I clicked New document by mistake.

  20. Hide borders option for tables in Proton Docs

    I use tables for column formatting in documents. It would be nice to see Hide borders added to the Options dropdown menu that appears above tables in Proton Docs.
