An option to lock down Drive access on computer
In addition to Proton Drive, I have a premium pCloud account with their encryption option.
If Proton Drive provides a secured online storage with encrypted transfers and encryption at rest, pCloud Encryption provides in addition a mechanism which allows locking the local vault on the computer for sensitive documents.
Sure the computer session has a password but it would be nice to see such a complimentary option for Drive. I believe pCloud opens up some sort of virtual network drive. I don't know if Proton Drive does the same thing and if the current implementation would enable this.The Proton…

Feature Request - Per-Service Storage Usage Breakdown
Dear Proton Team,
It would be very helpful to have a visual breakdown showing how much storage each service uses individually (Mail, Drive, Calendar, etc.) within the total account quota. Currently, we only see the combined usage, which makes it harder to identify where space is being consumed.

Segmented Streaming for Videos to enable previewing large video files
I tried to preview a 5min video which is 5GB in my drive, but I couldn't. It wouldn't load at all. I assume the app is trying to download the whole thing and then let me view it instead of serving me chunks, so with segmented streaming I hope I can view any of my video files with 0 waiting time.

I want to type my Font Size
When using Proton Docs, I want to be able to type my own font. In my style sheets from Word or Google Docs I always use size 24 I want to able to do that and to type any font size I need; maybe 1-300 is good :)

Support an Official (Proton) Obsidian Sync Plug-in backed by Proton Drive
As there is no notes app (similar to OneNote/ Notion/ etc), a really nice middle ground would be a supported Obsidian plugin.
I've built one myself - but as the auth isn't supported on Mobile, when/ if you change the API it all stops working.
As Obsidian already has numerous plugins for users to choose from, it would make a really nice middle-ground for a supported cross-platform note taking app.

Colors for Folders and Organization
Thank you for a fantastic ecosystem. I have two suggestions for Proton Drive.
The ability to assign colors to different folders.
The ability to choose to have the folders you’ve most recently opened appear at the top.

Full-width / pageless mode in Proton Docs for wide tables
Proton Docs currently constrains document content to the width of a "virtual page". This becomes a serious usability problem when working with tables that contain many columns.
For example, a table with 8–10 columns has to fit inside the relatively narrow page area even when there is plenty of unused horizontal space available in the browser window (4K resolution). Reducing the font size only helps to a limited extent, and Proton Docs currently does not allow font sizes below 8 pt.

Uncompress zip files online (in Proton Drive)
After taking out documents of Google Drive - you get huge ZIP files. I just want to upload them and decompress them inside the Proton Drive - not decompressing offline and then upload them all separate.

jpeg xl (.jxl) is now supported on Chrome and Firefox. so it would be great to see support on Proton Drive in the WebUI to show previews

Add zoom in/out to Proton Docs web app
Please add zoom/in/out to Proton Docs. You can work around this by zooming the browser, but that increases the size of all UI elements and isn't a great solution. Hoping this is low-hanging fruit! Thanks

Create links for sharing albums to people without requiring their email
The new albums are cool and all. Unfortunately, when I tried to share it with someone, I had to actually grab their email for that. That's just, kinda silly. We can share pictures with links, but not albums?

Would be nice to be able to set the trash to auto delete (empty) just like the email one does.

Drive basic features
Some of the most basic features:
Favorites/Starred folders. When you have a large directory structure you don't want to navigate manually each time with 20 clicks, add a star or favorite option
After you navigate to a folder deep down and then you use the search function, if you clear the search it then resets you back to the root of the drive, very annoying.
Teammates that have files shared cannot search them, impossible to work in a team without this

Implement a RECENT button that shows all recent activity in Drive (added, changed, recently accessed, etc.) Similar to how Google Drive does it (sorry).

Logarithmic charts inside Sheets
Currently, chart axes in Proton Sheets only support a linear scale. This makes it very hard to read charts where values span a wide range — for example, a bar chart with a few large values (e.g. rent, investments) and many small values (e.g. subscriptions, insurance) in the same dataset. The small bars all end up compressed near the axis and become visually indistinguishable, even though the underlying differences between them matter to the user.
Adding an option for a logarithmic axis scale (similar to what Google Sheets and Excel offer) would let users compress the large values and expand…
