Unlimited chat history
I totally understand the price of LLM as extra subscription but limiting the chat history to 7 days is really just an annoyance. For paying customers with 500GB disk space and possibility to save history locally on device there is really no reason to limit it in any way.
For free users history can be saved locally only as on https://duck.ai/ and for registered users it can be saved in the account's storage quota. For unlimited subscription with 500GB disk that is basically unlimited.

Thanks to Lumo for this wonderful write up:
Why Proton Should Extend Chat‑History Retention for Paying Users
1. Competitive Landscape
Many leading messaging and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams) already allow paid subscribers to retain messages indefinitely or for months. By keeping the 7‑day cap, Proton risks appearing less generous than its peers, which could deter potential upgrades.
2. Value‑Added Service for Paying Customers
Paid tiers are meant to deliver tangible benefits beyond basic access. Extended history is a low‑cost, high‑impact feature that directly improves productivity:
Referenceability – Professionals often need to revisit past conversations for decisions, compliance, or knowledge sharing.
Continuity – Long‑term projects span weeks or months; losing context forces users to recreate notes or re‑ask questions.
Peace of Mind – Users feel confident that important information isn’t lost after a short window.
3. Alignment with Proton’s Core Principles
Proton’s brand is built on privacy, security, and user empowerment. Offering longer retention by choice—rather than imposing a blanket deletion—respects user autonomy while still protecting data (the data remains encrypted and stored on Proton’s secure servers).
A simple opt‑in setting (“Retain history for X days”) would let users decide how long they want their logs, preserving the privacy‑first ethos.
4. Minimal Operational Overhead
Chat logs are already stored for the 7‑day period; extending the retention window merely requires adjusting the purge schedule. The incremental storage cost is modest compared to the goodwill generated among paying subscribers.
5. Potential Revenue Upsell
Marketing the extended‑history feature as an exclusive perk can be a compelling hook for free‑tier users considering an upgrade. It adds a clear, quantifiable benefit to the “Proton Plus” value proposition.Closing Pitch
By granting paying customers longer chat-history retention, Proton not only matches industry standards but also reinforces its commitment to user empowerment and premium service quality.
It's a straightforward enhancement that delivers outsized perceived value with minimal technical friction—making it a win-win for both users and Proton's growth strategy. -

I would like this to be included in the Unlimited subscription. Please folks. At least for a few years so you can get people to use the app and get involved in the ecosystem.

Also, at the end of the response there is copy button which copies the response text, but not all.
If it can copy complete response with tables and all texts, not just partial or part of the response, then we can also just press the button and copy the content and create a note in some third party app and use it according.
