When is LUMO going to learn how to read a PDF?
I would like LUMO to be able to read PDF that is pulled into its upload box. There are some PDFs that are scanned by my local printer that it can read and see what's on the screen and do a great analysis of the same. Then there are other PDF's that it doesn't even know I sent to it. However when I try to resend it the system says that I've already sent the PDF. It makes it very frustrating when you're trying to use LUMO to fix things that a screen copy or a PDF can help describe
Lumo can read PDFs. If you're having issues please contact support.

OK so I got the big 2.0 announcement today. Showing how much smarter and how much faster it got that was encouraging because we always had a bit of a lag behind the big boys. Then I saw item number two: Image recognition and generation. so I thought I would just upload a PDF and ask it what it saw, not to even analyze it. He couldn't even see the PDF. Drug it up an into Claude and to Gemini and they both immediately told me what it was and began analysis. I did the same thing with a JPG. Something's wrong out here in the world as I am not seeing the progress announced. I am not trying to be contrarian. I truly want to use Lumo as my daily driver for the privacy but it just hasn't got everything under the hood working right yet.

Yes I know that's what Lumo tells me as well. However half the time it can't tell I've put one out there and then I can't update or send it again because the system says I've already loaded it once so I tell Lumo it's out there and Lumo says I can't see it. This has happened over and over and once you get this fixed it become like a Gemini or a Claude where you can consistently read 100 percent of the attachments that are dragged out then you'll be big time. SOme it can read and tells it's there others it cannot. You really need to get caught up with what's happening in the field.
