option to check in proton calendar
Often I have tasks to do within the day and I don't necessarily want to delete them from the calendar once they're done in order to keep track of the day they were executed nor do I want to keep getting notifications for them as they are done. Therefore I think it would be amazing to have the possibility to check the tasks in proton calendar (like in a to-do list) so that we don't get notifications for them anymore but they keep appearing as executed in the calendar. Sync Proton Calendar with Google contacts, but optionally not modify Google contacts
Contact-Calendar programs such as E-Z Contact Book for Windows allows you to save reminders in the contacts. Proton Calendar should be able to sync with Google contacts, but optionally not modify Google contacts, and update to include all reminders in contacts not just birthdays and anniversaries.

Android: Alarm should override silent mode/alarm should sound in silent mode
Similar to Android's "Simple Calendar" I need the Proton Calendar's alarms for events to sound even in silent mode. Simple Calendar can do this. I think it might be related to an advanced option (that's not available in Proton Calendar) to "allow setting alarms and reminders", but I'm not sure.
I need this because my phone is usually on silent but I still need to be able to hear the calendar alerts.

icon for calendar and drive
Hi, I wanted to ask a question about icons: I'd like there to be an icon next to each calendar appointment. Does this feature exist? Same thing for Drive, I would like an icon for each folder created. Possible? Thank you

Categories / Colors for visual organization of events (and ez color prioritization)
Allowing for customizable color tags to Calendar events enables users to easily (and privately) prioritize their events by name and color.
This enhances Calendar use & importance recognition of events.

Easier Entry Editing
I tend to slightly adjust my entries frequently throughout the day. However, currently, when changing the duration or time or an entry (which are the most common edits I make), I always have to enter the new times manually. Therefore, I suggest the following functions:
Simpler dragging of entries
Instead of having to confirm every time after dragging an entry to a different time, it should stay there. A possible pop-up would be something like "undo" or "reverse", in case of e.g. a mouse-slip. But when re-scheduling everything to be one hour later, I simply don't want to have to…

It would be nice to have hotkeys for navigation in calendar, like next week, this week, jump to today, change view mode.

Remove colon (:) necessity for easier scheduling
Would be great if we could input "1845" and not necessarily "18:45" so we can just use the numpad and go on to the next input field.
I use the keyboard to fill in the whole thing but typing the colon takes more time and just inputting numbers and just pressing "tab" would make it a lot easier.

Biometrics lock for Calendar iOS and Android mobile apps
All Proton services are intended and optimized for privacy, why not have the apps locked with fingerprint lock/Face ID..... to avoid others from opening our apps (e.g seeing private sensitive events).

Allow not to send a mail response from a calendar ics invite
When we confirm an event invite, Proton Calendar automatically sends a mail to the event owner.

Would be nice to have a "reminder" feature in addition to events
Basically "reminders" as in Google Calendar would be ideal. Main difference with Events is duration (no duration for reminder, a thin line in the calendar) and, most importantly, that reminder moves ahead in time continuously if I did not acknowledge it. By that I mean each time I open calendar I see these reminders that are not done yet. Currently I use Events also for reminders, but if I can't do the task right at the time of notification I easily forget it because I don't see it e.g. the next day.

Improve export options
I suggest that the calendar export function be enhanced by:
1) adding file type of ".csv" as an option
2) offer a date range (all or select dates)
3) Offer choice of which of your calendars (all or selected), if this is implemented then each calendar entry should include field X-WR-CALNAME:
Then we can download calendars into spreadsheet for search and sort purposes.

Support third party integrations (Zoom, Calendly)
Would you be able to have Calendly and Zoom be integrated into your calendar? This will help me have Zoom links and email reminders saved in my Proton Mail business mail calendar without having to rely on my Gmail calendar and account for these features which is the whole point of moving away from Gmail and into Proton Mail and save me money from paying Gmail and Proton Mail for the same service. I would absolutely love it to have you be able to integrate Calendly and Zoom into Proton Calendar. This will help me run my business smoothly without…

DAV Support for Contacts & Calendar
Enabling DAV support for Contacts & Calendar would be a huge improvement for Proton users. I would like to be able to sync my contacts and calendars with one another across devices, especially Android contacts.
Currently, I'm using DAVx5 to sync my contacts & calendar w/Nextcloud.

Edit/Change calendar event on Android
On Android, we are unable to change an existing calendar entry if there are people invited. We then must go to the browser to update the existing calendar entry. We need ability to edit/change calendar entries that were created on the browser version, but to edit them on the Android app.

PROBLEM: I deleted a Calendar event, and have no way to undo the delete (i.e. I want to restore a deleted event.)
RECOMMEND: For Calendar, allow restore events for up to 30 days after the event has been deleted.9 votes -
Multiple timezones
I have a big use case for more than two timezones, as I have multiple clients in different parts of the world. I realize that would be hard on the UI as that would prob squish stuff but tbh having that information all there would be worth it.
