Sharing a calendar using existing contacts
Hello,
I would have 3 proposals related to the sharing of the agenda:
- Allow to share one of my calendars with another ProtonMail user present in my contacts.
- Allow to invite another ProtonMail user present in my contacts to participate to an event.
- Allow a specific ProtonMail user in my contacts to edit one of my calendars.
This is very useful for example when your spouse is not available to know if she will be available at a specific date and to define a date with someone while inviting her to this event.
This can also be valid for employees in the company

Sharing a calendar is available on Web.
On next iterations we would like to enable the editing permission on mobile apps and add in the future to only share the "busy" information

I'll stay with google calendar until I can share events and views with my spouse and we can coordinate kids events/family outings, etc. It's of very limited use to me if I can't at least invite someone to an event with me - love the idea! Can't wait until this is supported!

Need a working replacement for google calendar to share personal and business calendar with my husband/business partner.

I need features to better share the Calendar. I want the option to share it with other Protonmail users in addition to non-Proton mail users (such as google). I know this will defeat the purpose of privacy, but I want to be the one who decides who gets to see what. This is a critical feature for usability of this service in a business setting.

This is the only reason I haven't switched to protoncalendar yet (still using google calendar) - I need to be able to view other calendars (work calendar, partners calendar etc)

At least shared calendars between PMail users would be a first step. Many people would move their family calendar to Proton Calendar if it was possible.
I know I would. -

Calendar sharing future of Google is the major reason why we are using it. I will remove my Google account once you complete the calendar sharing option multi platform. As a busy family with 4 kids, work, etc. the only way we can manage life at home & work is through sharing of calendar with my wife. If it is not in the calendar, I won't do it, therefore, ProtonCalendar really needs multi platform sharing capability!

I would like to have the ability to share a calendar like I can with google calendars. This will enable me to get my wife off of google.

It would be a dream if a team that uses protonmail could share a common calendar for common events, as it's possible in google calendar.

Yes and Yes. PM and DDG and almost let me totally break free from Google. I still use Google calendar because I can share it with other people in my family.

My business uses a shared calendar (currently TimeTree) to manage the usage of our space. If ProtonMail calendar had a sharing feature, it would be fantastic.

Ability for sharing events and tasks with ProtonUsers and Non-ProntoUsers, like existing on other 3rd services like Outlook and Gmail.
