Bring back the dedicated Contacts Proton app on the website
Until recently, there was a dedicated Proton app (like Calendar, Drive, etc.) for managing Contacts in the App Selector. That app is a necessity for batch updates (quarterly or yearly) to contacts.

Agreed, in it's current format the contacts function in the mail app is an afterthought.
There are numerous times people need to manipulate or export contacts via a .csv format and I was very surprised that only .vcf was available, as I've never needed a .vcf file for anything but exporting a single contact.
I'm now in a position where I need to export all my contacts for import to a CRM and unable to proceed.

There are a number of situations that require me to use a conversion and without this ability it restricts my use of Proton contacts itself.

Lots of other apps require import of contacts. It's hard to make Proton my main contact app when I have to maintain all my contacts elsewhere as well.

I don't really need the csv export, but I do really need a secure contacts app that syncs between my mac and iphone. You're partway there with moving contacts into Proton mail, but I need to be able to access those records outside of mail on my phone... like a contacts app. Please please please please

I cannot use this with bulk mail list generation. Much of my contact use is still in the physical world. This is a BIG issue for me.

Proton Contacts needs its own app and it needs to be able to export contacts to csv for mail merge. I use my contacts from outlook to make my holiday cards list but in Proton this function dosent appear to exist anymore. the vcf files are not usable without a 3rd party converter.
