Decrease sync delay
The sync of changes has a huge delay. Shared calendar can take hours, sync in mobile app can take minutes. This should be both near real time.

Commenting 7/29/2024. I agree with all the comments I've seen on this thread. This is critical.

An option to set a sync interval would be ideal. Entries that change for work take an extremely long time and are sometimes not successfully synced even after 8 hours. More information about the status and how many elements were transferred would be also helpful.

Comment to see if we can resurface this. Agree with all previous comments, without timely refresh/sync, it's defeating the purpose of integrating external calendar (Another major painpoint being unable to two-way sync, which is another idea in this forum)

Assuming this is for linking external calendars. I completely agree that this process takes WAY too long. I often add meetings to a linked Outlook in the morning and they don't show up until the evening or next day in my Proton Calendar! Makes it very hard to daily drive with Proton.

please decrease the delay or add a sync now button

Yes please! Anything above 30 minutes is unreasonable. At a minimum there's no reason a "sync now" button can't exist.

Yes please! Add a "sync now" button *and* poll for updates more frequently. I don't know if it'd decrease the infrastructure load, but if so, where I really need rapid syncing is in only for the current day and the week ahead, to know if my immediate-future schedule has changed!

Or/And, add a refresh button.

Fully supporting this. At every 30 or 60 minutes would be nice.
