Tasks in Calendar is for me absolutely critical.

+1. I am considering switching to proton but for the lack of this feature. It also worries me that this idea was posted in 2015, and only came under review 7 years later, and 3 years later there is still nothing. 10 years to implement this feature like this does not look good for proton's responsiveness as a company.

+1 - One of the key features for calendar. Loved it in Google. Please add.

I'd add, allow different types of tasks with different color codes for categories that the user can create and customize. For example, pink for personal, green for finance, red for critical. Allow an app or integration with calendar app where things get checked off as they get done.

This is the reason my SO doesn't want to move to Proton Calendar.

I use Todoist, it is my favourite todo list application. I would be very happy if they would allow 2-way integration like they have between Todoist and Google Calendar. This lack of integration is probably the biggest road block for me to transition away from gmail / Microsoft and onto the Proton platform.

This would be really useful for productivity.

Not terribly important. I use Google Tasks and like its design and function.

The long, long delay in implementing a core feature of any calendar app like this is making it very frustrating to try and move over to Proton completely.

This is a really important feature that deserves more attention.

The last feature that will let me completely ditch my gmail account. I can look at individual reminder apps, but what a hassle! This should be part of any calendar app.

A simple checklist of "Tasks" as an additional option for the right-most panel in Proton Mail would suffice.

Agreed, it cannot be called a "suite" without having one. At this point, it is unacceptable.
