Proton Calendar (web app)
I love protonmail as it is, to have an integrated calendar would be very handy. I would use it all the time then!!!
A calendar is more than just a tool. It’s a record of the moments that make up your life. Today, we’re happy to announce the launch of ProtonCalendar beta for all paid users. ProtonCalendar keeps your events private and secure. Learn more here: https://protonmail.com/blog/protoncalendar-beta-announcement/

I agree. A secure Calendar would be much used and appreciated. The security of one's daily life plans is a very high priority on any thoughtful level

If calendaring function is on a far off timetable, how about an easy integration with Google Calendar, etc.

Doesn't anyone search for existing suggestions before posting an idea? This is where all the votes for a Calender feature have been going:

Please make ProtonCalender encrypted and completely independent from gOOgle's prying EyEs. Many other Calender apps work together with gOOgle calender. So it defeats the purpose of using alternative calender apps.
Why should they be able to read my private event and reminder information? Let's leave gOOgle in the dust!

Yes, you'll probably get a calendar delivered, pay for the upgrade and then have regrets once you've tied yourself in.
Protonmail have a habit of half-baking functionality and then dropping support for it. You've been warned.

With a calendar Protonmail would be a good replacement for Gmail.

Please, please, please offer a SEARCHABLE calendar.
I run a small business, and its absolutely imperative that we can search the calendar for previous meetings with specific clients or where the last meeting took place.
Search for encrypted calendars could be done the same as Tutanota do their search for encrypted emails: An index file is generated LOCALLY to enable search on the user's computer at that particular time. It works well. Similar to how password managers store everything encrypted in the crowd but still allow search on the computer when you are using them.
Pretty, pretty please with a cherry on top, please develop a search function for the calendar.

This suggestion was made in another post here:
https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-feedback/suggestions/31691812-contacts-calendars-and-notesProbably it's worth re-investing your votes there to speed up the calendar development.

Would appreciate a calendar facility within Protonmail so that an alternative (and less secure) service can be dropped in favour of Protonmail. Have deliberated for some time whether KolabNow would better suit my needs, but am impressed with the Protonmail system. Now it just needs calendaring to complete the service (other than perhaps 'Tasks')

I'd like to make Proton my default email and pay for the service. However, my calendar is what steers my time. Without a functional calendar, I'm finding that Proton doesn't have an essential element for me to be able to move over. I would love to move over.

I agree, a calendar is needed. It would be nice to switch out of Apple calendar for personal use. I assume Outlook/Google would be the equivalent for business to hookup contacts to calendar dates.
