My "mobile" device is a 10" tablet - need better format options
Just installed Cal on my Android tablet. There is no option for a week view even though tablet works fine for that view. Also should allow landscape view if tablet is rotated. The month at the top takes up too much room. Provide a menu option to show month.
I am moving away from Google, but my old calendar app Calengoo is excellent in terms of view options. It has too many other options but take a look at its views.
Thanks!
Also need search option, recurring events, ability to change reminder time. You may already have some of these.

show next days
Would wish to be able to see the next N days (like in other popular calendar apps and tools).
It's very useful, as I like to see what's ahead, and not what's past.
It becomes bothersome to see the whole current week on the last days of the week when you have to switch between this and the next week.
The next N days lets you have a full view at a single glance.5 votes -
need smaller font for month view
I prefer month view in Calendar but font size is too large: I can see times and only a few letters of descriptions of events. Yes, I can change settings in browser to make text smaller but then EVERYTHING is smaller, on all sites, and I don't want that. Ideally I'd be able to set an independent font size for Calendar and also for ProtonMail. I'd want Calendar fonts to be smaller (esp in month view) but ProtonMail fonts to be bigger (especially in message editor). This is a big problem for me.

ProtonCalendar app "Go to Date" feature
A feature that many calendar apps have is a "Go to date" search feature allowing you to go to a specific date rarher than needing tl continually scroll or swipe to get to a specific month and year. This feature, I feel, is a must.

ICS import on drag n drop
Given:
A user is on the calendar view. Then:
Make it possible to drag n drop a .ICS file in the browser screenAnd:
Protonmail will import that ICS file in the default calendar as an eventWhy?
This way you can faster import an event. Yes you can do that now by going to import but most of the time you download an ics file if you subscribed from an external event site ex. Meetup10 votes -
4 weeks view similar to google calendar
Google calendar has an option to view the calendar in month view with the starting week being the current week instead of showing the current month. They call it "4 Weeks". This allows you to see what is coming up for the next four weeks w/o having to change the month you are on. It just continually moves forward.

Select Calendar when accepting an invitation in ProtonMail
When I receive an external invitation in Proton Mail, it is automatically added to Proton Calendar when I accpt it.
I'm using multiple calendars (for my different clients) and I cannot choose in which calendar it should be added. I then need to open the event in the calendar and modify it.
Is it possible to add this option when accpting an invitation ?

ProtonCalendar - an opportunity to mark (done) events
today a event "grays out" when time has passed even if it is done or not.
I would like an opportunity to mark different status on a event i.e tick off when done.
And perhaps an arrow for postponed events, a exclamation mark for important and so on.

Add pin protection to Proton Calendar for Android
There is a pin protection function on Proton Mail for Android. Having the same function on Calendar would help secure this sensitive info.

Accept calendar invites without sending answer to sender
I redirect mail from various inboxes to my ProtonMail inbox, and some contain calendar invites. Since I would like to migrate and use ProtonCalendar as my main calendar, it would be nice to be able to accept calendar events without sending a reply to the sender so they don't see my ProtonMail address. I would think that many people are in the same situation.

calendar reminder
Add a 'Reminder' event type to Calendar: an event that does not take any particular time slot but is still available in the calendar and can be reminded of on a particular date/time. Like 'Pay for smth'.

Add Rich Text Editor and increase character limit in Description of Events
The Event Description is a really important feature. Currently it does not have a rich text editor and the character limit is really low.
I use this feature quite a bit in Google Calendar. I think it is a must have and pretty important requirement.

Optimize calendar for smaller screens (density-options)
Google Calendar has an option where you can choose density on the calendar. I'm using a 14" laptop and Proton Calendar can only fit a single event in one day (month view). It's very limited. If I choose "Compact" view on Google I can fit 3 events in one day. The lack of this future is probably the main reason why I don't swich from Google to Proton Calendar.

Calendar Appointment Email and/or SMS Reminder
When scheduling an appointment in the calendar application, it would be great if the reminder functionality could also allow a user to send themselves an email or text message reminder.

How about allowing the user to set a discrete sound to set calendar notifications apart from generic phone notifications for everything else?

shared calendars & contacts for multi-user accounts
looking at protonmail as an alternative to mailbox.org. Proton's UI is quite a bit ahead imho!
I would like to see better multi-user/team support, not just for businesses but families where its common to share calendars, contacts, to-do lists, etc.. I'm getting this built in with mailbox.org and hoping this will be added to the calendar before release?
