Lock screen widget for Samsung devices (One UI 6.1+)
Since I completely switched from Samsung Calendar to Proton Calendar I really miss the widget on my lock screen /Always On Display that shows the next event.
It would be great if Proton Calendar also had such an widget available.
Lock screen widgets are available for Samsung devices with Android 14+ / One UI 6.1+.

Mobile app is too slow to update events
When the user opens the mobile app (iOS in this case) the app will go automatically to show today's events (expected). Then click on any other day in a different week to the current one and the app takes between 2 to 4 seconds to update the events on this particular day.

Allow recurring events on 'Thursday on the first full week'
I need to recur events in my calendar for various days based on not the first Thursday (for example) but the Thursday of the first full week - I have to add these events manually.

Proton Calendar Slack App
I'm excited to see Proton expanding their functionality, but it still seems that it has some growing to do if its going to be useful in a business setting. I'm hoping that we might see the addition of a Slack App for Proton Calendar. So we can schedule events from Slack, share our availability from Slack, sync calendar to your Slack status, and keeping us appraised of changes to event from Slack
I think this might require proton calendar to enable an OAuth2 Flow.

Colour events based on keywords
Now that calendar events can have individual colours, (THANK YOU! <3) I would love to be able to set keywords at a calendar level that automatically set an event's colour.
For example my calendar's default colour is yellow, but if I create an event that starts with "Work:" it automatically updates to a different colour.
This is something that GCal et al don't offer (as far as I know) and I think it would be a good feature.

Proton Tele
How about a new chat product from Proton like "Telegram" Since Telegram has been recently compromised with the imprisonment of the owner of Telegram in France. We need a new fully encrypted end to end phone/ chat app on the block.

Time Zone labels and intelligence
This might not be applicable in all time zones in the world, but in Canada we often use time zone labels like ET (Eastern Time), or more specifically EST (Eastern Standard Time) or EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) and in my experience these are more common than specifying GMT offset.
Figuring out what GMT offset to use can be a memory challenge, despite the inclusion of notable cities in the list. And indeed these labels/offsets shift during the year - see our contentious daylight-savings time shifts - and I wouldn't be surprised if they get other changes over time.
For those…

Add Import Calendar to Calendar UI (as opposed to being just buried in Settings)
On the left bar, below the calendar is the list of "My Calendars". Next to the label "My Calendars," there are icons for add calendar and settings.
My suggestion is to add a third icon to that group to import calendars (e.g. ICS files)

Enable default notifications for events not yet responded to, e.g., a reminder notification to make a decision later)
This is most notable with Microsoft calendars, but other vendors, as well. Please enable default notifications for events that are not yet responded to (need these reminders to remember to decide/reply later on). These are the ones where you really need multiple reminders to reconsider as the time approaches! Thanks!

colors choice for events but not contrasted enough
you've added color choices but there are not contrasted enough between each other. we still can't identify quickly. For exemple the blue colors are too much alike. The brown too close. We need some reddish color. More primary. Please

Autofill Location for Events
Some calendars like iOS and Gmail have a location feature that as you type the name of a place, the address (or addresses) appear and allow you to select it. I would like to see this as a feature; I think it would be a great improvement to how selecting a location works now. Now, you have to click the place or link after an event has been added and it will open either Maps, Google Maps, or Waze to ask which place is the correct one you're looking for.

"Add to Proton Calendar" button
I work in events, and I would love to be able to embed a button on my ticket page that quickly adds an entry for the event into the users calendar. It would be even better if it could add an event that I am the host of, so I would be able to change the time/location of the event after they have added it and it would auto update in their calendar. If so the participant list would of course have to be private.
I also see this being extremely useful for my uni classes, if they could just…

Show the recipient's time zone instead of the sender's in email notifications
When I receive a notification of an event, the message is accompanied by the time zone of the event creator. In the calendar view, I see it in my time zone, but in the notification, I see the time in the event creator's time zone.
My request is that even in notifications and invitations the user (guest) always receives it in their time zone.
Thanks.

Diary
I would like to have a diary app that is private. While thinking about it, I realized it could be integrated into the Proton Calendar. While it is possible to use it as a diary aleady, i think it would be nice to have it a little more specialized for it with a few options. For example, there is no need to have schedules in a diary and some diary apps offer to set an emotion for each page. The date of an entry should be set automatically to the time that an entry is created. Like one can have…
