    Essentially the ability to create tasks and task lists in calendar.

  2. Shared calendar as default

    My spouse and I use one shared calendar (currently on iCloud). It is a shared family calendar that we both have set as the default calendar for new appointments.

    In Proton Calendar you can share a calendar and edit the shared calendar, but you can't set that shared calendar as your default. Big miss for us and a reason not to switch to Proton Calendar yet.

  3. Add to Proton Calendar Link

    A url that when accessed adds an event to your proton calendar. This would be useful for several reasons:
    1) I use these urls + chatgpt to extract event info and add it to my calendar. I've done this with google in the past with great success, but now I use proton calendar and can't do this anymore.
    2) Sharing events (such as on websites) that lets people with proton calendar add quickly
    3) increasing awareness of proton calendar through viewing of these links

    A Proton owned AI that integrates tasks and projects (another Proton feature to be born) into your schedule in Proton Calendar.

    As similar as possible to Motion, but encrypted!

  6. Merge calendars

    I’d like to be able to merge calendars if I change my organizing system. Currently, my options are to either having to keep a calendar or delete it altogether if I want to change something.

    A button to force sync in the Android app, as all my events are not synced on Android, even after waiting for a while. Only app reinstall allows a full sync.

  9. Show drive time based on event and starting location

    like apple calendar when you add a location, you can then select a time to leave and put in a starting location, then based on the starting location and the location of the enent, automatically sets the time to leave based on map data like apple maps.

    on the event it shows the driving time aobe the actual start time of the event.

    example 15 min drive and the event starts at 10:00pm there would be a drive time event 15min above and attached to the event as the drive time to the event.

  12. Ability to use trackpad, keyboard and mouse wheel to navigate in Proton Calendar

    Being able to use the trackpad and keepboard to navigate from month to month (or weeks to weeks, or days to days depending on your view) would be a great addition. It comes very handy to have the ability to use trackpad, mousewheel or keyboard (such as arrow keys) to navigate.

    Making that changeable in the settings would be even better eventually.

  13. Split the « Agenda » view into two consecutive separate views: Month view followed by the daily view in list form

    I still can't use Proton Calendar as my default
    calendar because of one particular irritant: the Month view.

    • First of all, I would have liked to have the option in the settings to remove the grid that surrounds each day of the month, which I don't find very aesthetically pleasing.

    • Furthermore, the week numbers should be displayed smaller, for example, in the top left corner of the first day of each week. Otherwise, the week numbers are too large and compress the text written in each day.

  14. Ask before importing duplicate events

    When importing an .ics file it automatically creates all events. It would be useful to skip events that already exist or to update them. This way we don't have unnecessary duplicate events.

    When viewing two or more calendars, show them side by side, instead of mixed together, as is currently the case. See the image.

  19. Improve Global Loading/Action Time

    I've seen a couple people mentioning loading time when an app is opening, but a major weakness of Proton Calendar is that it's so slow to do basically everything and all other actions are held up until the one currently running is complete. Examples include initial loading of the calendar, creating a new event, changing the time on an existing event, modifying repeat sequences, etc.

    I don't fully understand the technical aspects of what calls and actions need to occur, but other calendar apps such as Google Calendar and Outlook will perform most of these actions near-instantaneously. I know it's…

  20. Don't require google or facebook account to vote or write new suggestions

    This page, uservoise, requires us to login to facebook or google account to vote or write new suggestions. I don't have a facebook account, and I dont want to use my google account either.
