Keep hourly events in the same position when all day events are displayed
When viewing calendar on Android (Unsure about iOS) and new all day events are displayed, the view in week view pushes all hourly events down to provide space for the all day events pane on top.
It can be rather bumpy when going between weeks, as the hourly events keeps being pushed up and down in the view.
Suggestion would be the same as done in Google Calendar (Not sure if other calendars are the same), where all day events still get displayed, but it "overlaps" the top of the calendar more or less adjusting to how many all day…

Be able to add a zoom link to an invite created on mobile app
When creating an invite on the desktop app or web browser you cane easily add a zoom link. This functionality should also be on the mobile app. Currently I either need to create invites on my computer or create a zoom meeting on my phone and then copy the call details into the invite.

Had one bug to report, now I have TWO!
The second bug is that when I click on Report a problem, it promptly closes the calendar tab in my browser (and nothing more). The first is that if I try to add an event, for April 10th for example, that I want to repeat every month on the same day of the month, it shows the WRONG day. For example, I create a new event on 10 April, the dropdown asks me if I want to repeat it every month on the 9th (WRONG), and then if I select that, it proceeds to schedule it on the 10th of…

"Add event to calendar" from apps on mobile devices
The single feature that is preventing me to move fully to Proton Calendar is this one. Many apps (airlines, medical apps, etc) allow you to "add" the event (flight, medical appointment) to your calendar and of course, since Proton Calendar does not have a "calendar" account in the mobile operating system, this doesn't work. Events cannot be added directly to Proton Calendar in one click.
So I also need to have an Apple Calendar for this type of things, suscribe to it in the Proton Calendar app and then it will show. However, travel information and medical appoinments are things…

option Not to send calendar email
When you add an event to a shared calendar, you don't always want a notification email to go out to everyone. It would be nice to have the option to cancel the email but still keep the invited members on the calendar event.

Format so outlook imports events
If an outlook-user invites another outlook-user to a meeting outlook will automatically import the meeting as pending in the corresponding calendar. This way colleagues can see that one might be in a meeting, and it's possible to accept the meetings from the calendar-view instead of through the inbox.
When an invite from Proton Calendar is sent this doesn't happen, and you have to accept invitations through the inbox.
Since Outlook behaves differently i assume it's something with the formatting in Proton Calendar - and this would be nice to have fixed.1 vote -
Show events on Calendar overview
I'm currently in progress of switching all of my information over to Proton for additional security. At this time, I'm focusing heavily on the Calendar, and I realized that none of the events that I input actually have any sort of obvious indicator. For example, if I were to select to view the month of February 2024, I have a multitude of events - however, there is absolutely no way of knowing this unless you begin clicking through every single individual day (through the Mail app) or every single individual week (through the Calendar app). This is quickly becoming an…

ProtonMail Events Easily Added to Proton Calendar
I have found it that I often am unable to add events easily from Proton Mail to Proton Calendar. Would be nice to have more versatility around this to make the process of adding events more streamlined without having to go to the calendar most every time

Remove ‘Create New Event’ button in iOS widget
There is already a small button to create new event so it’s redundant to have another big one in the middle - it’s quite anxiety-inducing to be constantly prompted to have an event planned.
Just put ‘No event today’.

Option to hide events
It would be nice to have the option to hide or grey out events. This is useful syncing external calendars and I don't care about some events in that calendar. Hiding them would give me a better sense of my availability.

Forward calendar events
I'd like to have a way to take a specific event, or a series of events, and forward it to someone else. Similar to how Outlook does it. This person will get a calendar invite and the owner will get an email telling them their calendar invite was forwarded.

More flexibility in Calendar views / Expandable all day event area
The calendar views are pretty limited, making it difficult to utilize calendars, especially multiple calendars, efficiently. I'd like to see more flexibility in the existing calendar views. If I could get only one improvement, it would be allowing the 'all day event' region of calendar views to be expandable via drag and drop (or if not that then customizable via a setting). The area is unnecessarily puny now. This should be an easy fix/win. Related to this, the 'X more' popup is teeny. Ideally this floating interface element would be expandable too.

Implement different colors for different unique events on the same calendar.
I have recently bought proton unlimited, mainly because I thought they had really good perks and the entire proton suit is pretty nice. I really want to organize my schedule using the proton calendar. Coming from Notion calendar and google calendar I find proton calendar to lack the ease-of-use aspect. Especially in this case. I think it wouldn't really be that big of a problem if I were to only use proton calendar on my laptop, but I do check my schedule on my phone and its really ugly to see all my unique non reoccurring events as the same…

Add "Multiweek" view, in the style of Thunderbird, where you can select how many weeks you want to see
Add "Multiweek" view, in the style of Thunderbird, where you can select how many weeks you want to see, and be able to see all the events of a day without having to expand the menu. Normally it is only possible to see 3 events per day in the normal "Month" mode. With this new way it is possible to browse up to 6 or 7 events per day at a glance.

Better handle bad user input on mobile
When someone enters an "all day" event but does so by setting it to 12am day 1 to 12am day 2, it shows up in the mobile app as a giant event spanning the whole day, rather than being recognized as an "all day" event like the web GUI does. Similarly, if someone puts in 1pm-1pm as the time for an event, it's nearly impossible to even click on in mobile. It would be nice if the mobile app would make sure it's at minimum a 30 min event size so I can read it and click on it. These…
