Actually we're interested in the community feedback here. There was a lot of pent up demand for Proton Docs so we prioritized getting that out first and are now focused on further improving Proton Docs. Given the choice between putting resources between further improving Proton Docs or integrating Standard Notes with Proton Accounts, it's not exactly clear what is more valuable to the community. So unfortunately I don't have an answer here as we haven't internally decided yet either, but we will take on community feedback as we work for you. -Andy

I believe that we all agree that Proton Docs is a complete disjointed disaster.

However, Proton AG acquired one of the best note-taking and document-creating application that exists today, 'Standard Notes'. So, why not integrate it, immediately?

probably wont happen for a long time. my guess maybe 3-5 years. Standard Notes is essentially an island. other than protondocs, it is not connected in any way to other proton app. Simplelogin is very close to mail and both have functionality in pass that it makes they got so quickly integrated.

I’d love a proton integrated standard notes app that takes my Proton subscription into account. I’d like to replace Apple notes with it!

This only make sense since Proton isn't going to have a dedicated app for Proton Docs anytime soon or even at all. The Standard Notes premium plan has everything you need from tasks to daily journals. This inclusion is a must.

Make this happen

I think that a pivot from the current Proton Drive integrated document editor into the SN would be great. Standard Notes fills all of the gaps that the current online drive editor lacks. Just integration with the proton drive suite, and collaboration would make it more useful than Google Docs. Great Idea!

And a way to share notes securely with other Proton users.

I hope they make it happen.

This would be perfect and make Proton a privacy alternative to Google Doc and Outlook.

This is something I would absolutely love to see.

Given the investment made by Proton in Standard Notes - this is critical. It would be a value added feature to the overall Proton Suite of Apps.

as a paid subscriber, having a privacy oriented notes system integrated into the ecosystem goes a long way for me to continue paying for my subscription.

For paid subscribers, the integration should include a premium notes subscription, not just the free one. integrating the free version is pointless.

We need to integrate as much as possible apps into native eco proton system.
Taking care of our privacity and security , and overall so far from google and microsft.

I'd like to see Standard Notes integrated with Proton Drive and for Proton Docs (because Docs lacks an app outside of the browser).

Notes and to do lists would be great additions
