  1. Apple messanger theme for Lumo AI

I have changed the inspect element data enough to make a good version of what I'm going for.
How do you post screenshots? Its a bit important.

  2. Make the app logos semantically relevant

The current app logos follow the Google trend of keeping to a strict aesthetic at the cost of user experience. The google ones are confusing and ugly, and the proton ones are only slightly nicer to look at, but equally ambiguous as to what they represent. Unless they are labelled, i cant tell which app is which.

  3. Referral section with the link - Does not provide any information about my privacy or email address customization

https://account.proton.me/u/30/mail/referral does not provide any assurance about my data shared with the referred user, for example i do not want referred user know my name or email address. If email is revealed to a referred user, then I would like to be able to customize which email address of mine they would see.

I can not find any privacy details of the referral program at https://proton.me/support/referral-program

Btw. https://lumo.proton.me thinks that my primary email address is shared with the referred user. Ask:
"When using Proton referral program, is my email address shared with the referred user? Can i customize which of…

  4. Postfix configuration guide

A step by step guide for using SMTP tokens with Postfix relay. Some services in my home network can't use the settings provided with the tokens. But they can use a relay. I would prefer to use Proton for this instead of limited free services.

  5. All day events glitch

Proton Calendar no longer reliably displays all day events in the iOS native app.

As a workaround for this dire bug, use any other calendar platform (Apple, Google, Microsoft).

  6. Proton Drive confirmation prompt text below screen borders

There's a glitch in Proton Drive. What I infer is a confirmation prompt, shows only the merest portion of the upper segment of a tooltip balloon shape, but NO text, when I try to delete files.

Tapping on the poorly rendered element results in the file being deleted. Tapping elsewhere on the screen does not delete the file.

This happens in the iPadOS Proton Drive native app. Using an Apple external tablet keyboard attached, in case that matters.

  7. HTTPS-Based Nostr and Lightning Address Hosting

A new feature for Proton Business Suite to simplify hosting Nostr NIP-05 identifiers (e.g. nostr@mydomain.com) and Lightning Addresses (e.g., lightning@mydomain.com) for custom domains, bundled with Proton Mail for Business and a static IP.

This service would allow users to publish Nostr and Lightning names without managing a web server, using the same domain as their Proton Mail (e.g., user@mydomain.com).

it would be really nice to have a SaaS version of the CAPTCHA where we could use it in our own websites, like google's reCAPTCHA.

yeah we have turnstile but I don't really like it

  10. 2025 Summer Roadmap Feedback

I've been using Proton for about nine years and have always been enthusiastic and supportive, but now I'm beginning to wonder if Proton has jumped the shark. For the past couple of years almost all development effort seems toward serving recovering Google addicts. I was never deep into the Googleshere, yet one of the reasons that I switched to Proton was to have an un-Google experience. I think it is a bad policy for any company to try to serve the whims of customers: better to do what you are good at and provide services that are sound and well…

  11. Stop it with the annoying new feature popups!

It's annoying to be pestered with a new feature popup every single time I login from every single device. I saw the popup the first time. I clicked to make it go away. I'd like it to stay away. Forever.

I have no interest whatsoever in creating a photo album. I refuse to make something I don't want or need. Why do you pester me at every login to make one?

You did the same thing with docs. I don't want or need an online document editor. But for weeks the annoying pester-the-user box kept popping up at every login.

  12. Generate a unique identifier for each UserVoice idea

In this manner, users would be able to reference other ideas or search by idea number.

For example, I recently opened a new idea as the original search was not successful. When reviewing other ideas to see if I could comment or vote on others, I noticed an idea matching mine had already been posted but none of the words in that idea matched my search. I'd like to be able to close my idea and add a comment referring to the other idea by unique number as well as through a link with that number.

  13. Option to edit an existing filter on the fly instead of creating new ones

The existing filter button within the card of an e-mail currently only makes it possible to create new filters, as far as I know.
Yet, this leads to a lot of filters that sometimes could just be grouped in the Logical definitions, by adding AND/OR conditions.
It would be nice to be able to edit those existing filters directly from an e-mail instead of going to the settings and pasting whatever e-mail address or topic should be filtered.

    Cheers

  14. Auto-Tagging by Catchall or plus code

Currently, any tag must be manually created which can be very time consuming if one was to apply a tag for different catchall addresses or plus coded emails. I would like the option to have any email that is addressed to a catchall address to automatically generate a tag based on the name of the catchall(or +code) To aid in managing this, it would also be great if users could select these auto generated tags (that apply to specific reciepients) and combine them so that all future emails would come in with the one tag. For example, if I had…

  15. More management for email addresses/aliases

I have done what hide-my-email alias now offers for years with normal email aliases and a catchall.
But I would like that to be integrated in proton mail directly so that I can enter an email there to be whitelisted and not have to rely on a catchall. I generate random hashes for the names, and only when something sends to that name it should go through and not any other email too.

I also cannot see why there is a limitation on email addresses. There shouldn't be any real cost attached to it, and is the only reason I…

  16. Proton Astronomy app

Add an Proton Astronomy app. Since proton are cern/scientists. Through Proton Astronomy. We can see the stars/planets and beyond and not worry about being tracked. All data would be encrypted. If we want to save any imagery, it would be saved to drive.

  17. Clean Inbox, Clear Mind – Why Proton Mail Is My Go-To for Focused Communication

I recently made the switch to Proton Mail and it’s been a game-changer for keeping my digital life secure and clutter-free. Between the sleek interface, end-to-end encryption, and zero ads, I finally feel like my inbox respects my time and privacy.
One feature I really appreciate is the Labels and Filters—perfect for organizing emails without any data mining in the background. If you’re trying to simplify your inbox and protect your communications, Proton Mail is worth exploring.

  18. Limited email groups for family plan with a custom domain

Currently, no email groups (distribution lists) are supported for non-business plans, even with a custom domain where such lists wouldn't interfere with your wider namespaces. There are real, family oriented use cases for such lists that I think Proton should support, particularly because I've lost them when migrating from Google. The two examples I personally care about:

    1. One small distribution list for my wife and me - we use this email address when creating accounts on web sites where emails might be time sensitive and important, such as banking. There are literally only two recipients.

    2. For many years, each of…

  20. Reconsider Bridge for iOS

If it is a technical impediment, please reconsider this feature because the tech keeps changing with new iOS releases.
It is not acceptable to force your paying customers to use several mail apps on iOS. It should be the users choice if they want to use the built-in app or Proton Mail. Proton won't keep up with iOS features in terms of integration with the OS (and new stuff like AI). So please allow us to use the email clients we desire.

    Thanks
