   The idea of such a page is to guide you from where you are (it does not mention this? e.g in the web interface) to where you want to be (it does not either give a useful link OR the "steps" you need to take (or what would be useful) a LINK.

   In fact the way to the "Request a Feature" is found by clicking on you name top-right and looking down the list............... this does not seem to be mentioned, certainly not clear to me.

2. How can we improve Proton Pass?

   The Proton applications offer a remarkable concept, but it's clear that this suite has a number of shortcomings that deserve to be highlighted.

   Consistent design: It would be nice if each application had a consistent interface. For example, there are currently two different interface styles between the VPN solution and the mail, drive and pass solutions. Visual uniformity would reinforce the suite's identity and enhance the user experience.

   More information: It would be beneficial to have more logs, information on all data, and monitoring possibilities. This would give users greater visibility and control over their information.

   Improved collaboration: More in-depth collaboration management is needed, including sharing and management groups across all applications. These features should be available not only to professionals, but also to home users.

   Centralized management: A centralized dashboard for managing all data would be a major asset. This would enable users to control and monitor all their information from a single access point.

   Greater flexibility: It would be advantageous to enable the integration of other solutions (for example, adding other mailboxes to Proton Mail). This flexibility would make the suite more attractive to a wider range of users.

4. Finish existing apps

   Please give priority to really finishing existing apps before developing anything new. Examples: in the new email app for Android only plain text is supported, no links. Also: reply to all doesn't work. Both things are essential for an email app. In the previous app it was available. Despite these shortcomings you launched it.
   Similar thing happened with calendar. You launched it but the subject line is not mentioned in email notifications, which is essential for a Calendar.
   
   Please, give priority to finishing existing apps with all essential features before launching them and start something new.

7. Allow VPN auto connect to be turned off

   Proton VPN on an iPhone will not allow auto connect to be turned off. The only way to stop using the VPN is to uninstall Proton VPN. There are times when connected to a network that does not have internet access, there is a need to turn off the Proton VPN. I have also had problems when using the hot spot on my iPhone that I need the VPN turned off. For example when using the hot spot to allow my laptop to connect to a corporate VPN.

   With the recent updated inactive account policy implemented (https://proton.me/support/inactive-accounts), I'd like to suggest the idea for Proton accounts to have an inactivity protection mechanism.

   What is an Inactivity Protection Mechanism?

   An inactivity protection mechanism is a system that automatically triggers a predetermined action when a user fails to engage with their email account within a specified timeframe. This feature would ensure that if a user becomes unavailable or incapacitated, their email account can be secured and protected from unauthorized access.

   How it could work

   1. Users opt-in to enable the inactivity protection mechanism for their email account.
   2. The user sets a specific timeframe (e.g., 30 days) during which they must periodically "check in" by performing a simple action, such as logging into their account or clicking a confirmation link sent via email or SMS.
   3. If the user fails to check in within the specified timeframe, the inactivity protection mechanism is triggered, initiating a predefined sequence of events.

   Possible Actions

   Some examples of actions that could be triggered when the inactivity protection mechanism is activated:

10. Proton On-Site Forums to Replace the Uservoice.Com Mess + Soc. Media

    Not everyone uses social media. And uservoice.com is an ugly, over-complicated, clinical mess. It would be infinitely better to have a proper set of moderated forums on-site at Proton, inc. help forums where users and support staff could chip in. Social media could act as an adjunct to this, but the real focus should be in forums. Even the biggest Linux distros e.g. have their own forums, and Proton is still much smaller than they are. Also, this ought to be privacy focused, which uservoice and social media are not. This also could foster a proper Proton/privacy community, which would be a great place also to point people to who ask about privacy and/or Proton, which happens a lot to privacy and Proton advocates, of which I am an active one, even a Proton evangelist one could say.

11. For mail, allow the email to open without leaving the email list screen. This way you can click from different emails without clicking back.

    Like in gmail you can have the mail list at the top of the page and the email open at the bottom.

    The dark theme on Drive and VPN is a nightmare: to have grey or dark purple text on a black background is ludicrous. who can read that? Maybe this works great for gamers who sit in a dark room all their lives and their eyes can distinguish between black and very dark grey but I think most people like some clearer distinction. Maybe it looks "cool", but it is impractical and annoying.
    I am really struggling to the point of thinking of cancelling my Proton subscription. We can select a lighter theme for web services why not for the desktop app? this should be so easy to implement.

13. Consistency with Ebony Theme

    The Ebony, Carbon, and Monokai themes are dark themes, but the i tooltip popups on the Settings pages show black text on a white popup background.
    This proposal requests a white text on a black (for Ebony) or a dark background (for Carbon and Monokai).

    Edit: To clarify, the tooltip is the i inside a circle similar to the (?) when Proton Uservoice asks you to give 1, 2, or 3 votes: "You have # votes left! (?)"

    I have two protonmail emails. Its pretty annoying to have to log out one to see the other. It would be ideal if you could easily switch between two different email accoutns without having to login/logout

15. Calendar and Drive icon too similar

    The calendar and drive icon are too similar, for accessibility, the tiny numbers on the Calendar icon really do not separate the overall look between the two app icons. Your Mail icon looks like an M, your first and main product but then you deviate from that style to regular icons to represent the other apps. Would it be quick and easy just to enlarge the numbers on the Calendar icon to help see the difference between the drive and calendar apps?

17. Simplelogin alias available directly from the compose window iOS/android

    It should be much much easier to create an alias for contacting random entities.

    If one clicks on a link which opens ones email client, one has to to go through several hoops just to set up and send an email them from a SL alias. Especially on a mobile device this is a massive pita.

    When composing, when one taps the 'from' section, along with ones regular email addresses there should be a random SL address to choose instead.

18. mail.proton.me should automatically login to last accessed mailbox rather than redirect to account.proton.me/switch

    Current UI: mail.proton.me redirects to account.proton.me/switch and from there after you pick up one, it redirects to https://mail.proton.me/u/<UID>/inbox , e.g. https://mail.proton.me/u/41/inbox

    Instead: mail.proton.me should go directly to the latest accessed mailbox.

    When "conversation mode" is selected, the "Inbox" and "Sent" folders contain discussions including both incoming and outgoing mails.
    Only unanswered messages (sent or received) need to go through both folders to be followed up. (But they can be found in "All messages")

    The whole thing is a bit confusing.

    What would you think, for this "conversation mode", of grouping (or enabling to be grouped by an option) the two folders "Inbox" and "Sent" into a single folder "Conversations" ?

    Eventually, two labels automatically added, "Received" and "Sent", could differentiate messages in conversations and make them easier to find.

20. follow intended username capitalization

    It's really a silly UI change. The welcome message on the email column layout capitalizes the first letter of non-capitalized username and it really bother me.

    if the username is "username" it should great "username" not "Username".

    That's my rant sorry to bother it's a really small change please fix
