Offline email access
Proton email is great but without offline access to all my emails, I find it too restrictive. Is there any timeline to develop capacity to work offline and sync once connected?

Integrate Proton Mail filtering with Proton Pass Vaults
Goal: filter email messages received from hide my aliases based on which Proton Pass Vault the login item / alias is stored in.
For example, a Proton Pass vault named "Important" has 2 items that reference hide my email aliases.
In Proton Mail, when filtering, have a condition that says, any email received from the "Important" vault.
This allows me to simplify the Proton Mail filters to easily group email for a new login or alias.
The alternative is described in https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-proton-mail/suggestions/48302573-allow-to-filter-emails-by-alias

Please provide MSI versions of Installers for Automated Deployments
The configuration management solution that I have available only supports MSI deployments, but the available Proton installers only come as .exe files.
Providing a standard MSI packaging format would help me tremendously. I know there is also the MSIX format, but I am not sure how well that would work with the Proton products because they also use sandboxing technology and could be a problem for things like Proton VPN. I am also not sure if I could use MSIX, but will verify that.
I know that I could wrap the .exe into an MSI file, but not being part…

Contacts and Calendar account sync on mobile
Contacts and Calendar management is incomplete without (LDAP) integration, e.g. for Android and iOS.
I'm stuck with Google contacts and calendar to backup my mobile data until Proton implements this.
I don't want to be forced to use dedicated apps for contacts or calendars. Let us use the stock mobile apps, and connect them to our Proton accounts.

iPadOS App
As we continue to evolve with the iPad and other tables becoming more and more daily workhorses we are still lagging with the same expanded iOS app for the iPad. We need an option within the app or a new app that allows the side bar to stay on and a better UI for the iPad App. A replication of the webUI would be totally fine (or the same as the Mac App). Fastmail for example allows a toggle within their iPad app to enable “Desktop Mode”. Providing this option will give some of us power users, using the iPad…

Bad placeholder text for unread count
The placeholder text for Proton Mail unread count is not the best. It says "0" during the loading process. That's often inaccurate. Instead, it should hide the counter until the data has finished loading.
This applies to the iOS app. This applies when using the unread filter. It likely applies in other scenarios as well.

Proton, Startpage-like browser extension and anonymous searching
I would like to see Proton building up on Startpage's idea (https://support.startpage.com/hc/de/articles/4521527855636-Impressum?t=light) and creating Proton infrastructure and browser extension that would allow for anonymous searching/browsing/surfing.

Jump to the most recent unread message in a conversation thread instead of the oldest
Could you change the behavior of Proton Mail or add an option to jump to the most recent UNREAD message/email within a conversation thread? Currently, the first unread message (oldest) is shown instead of the most recent when clicking on a conversation with a new unread email.

Digital Legacy mechanics
Create a Legacy contact with secure mechanics. The Use Case is that any user can designate another as his/her Digital Legacy, so they can take over and manage one's account in the event of passing away.
A possible approach would be to provide a link for the Legacy user to request access to the account - on such event, the owner would have an x amount of days to respond with a "no need - I'm alive and well". If no response was received within the timeframe, the Legacy user would be granted access to the accounts.5 votes -

Unify/obfuscate account login error message.
Upon trying to log in to a Proton account, make sure to obfuscate incorrect login information. Currently, trying a correct email address and an incorrect password outputs the following error message.
"The password is not correct. Please try again with a different password."But instead it should be, no matter what instances:
"The and account or password is not correct."
Helps to obfuscate an existing Proton account holder. Showing either the account or password is not correct if login attemp fails.
(this was observed in ProtonPass)

"UNREAD" button in mail views for web version
I really like the one push button to view "unread" mails only in the "all mail" view on android. Would be nice if you could also implement that in the web version - in stead of the current drop down menu for that.

Proton's answer to LinkedIn users who seek a more trustworthy platform.
As you know by now, LinkedIn is facing a class-action lawsuit in the US related to Unauthorized Data Sharing; Premium subscribers allege that LinkedIn secretly shared their private messages with third parties to train artificial intelligence (AI) models. This represents a clear violation of the Stored Communications Act (SCA), California's Unfair Competition Law (UCL), and is a significant breach of contract.
While LinkedIn has acknowledged this, and in response updated their privacy policy to give users more control over how their data are used for AI training, its an illegal breach of trust and may potentially expose users to privacy…

All in one app
Similar to Office 365, a simple but sleek app with all 6 proton apps within at the sidebar, this will take more storage and increase size especially with most users only using one app e.g VPN. However this would widen their use with the mail one or two clicks away, with your ability if the user has not “unlocked” the app e.g wallet if not visionary just hide it.
To resolve the storage issue for an all in one you could just on install ask what the user would like installing, then on a sidebar or tabs system of all…

Add filter action to send UnifiedPush notifications
Add a filter action which would allow you to send a UnifiedPush notification when the filter criteria have been met. UnifiedPush is a decentralized push notification system that lets you choose the service you want to use. It’s designed to be privacy-friendly, flexible, and open - see https://unifiedpush.org. I use the NTFY app on my de-Googled GrapheneOS phone for push notifications from most of my apps.
Being able to write e-mail filter(s) that send me a push notification (without involving Google or Google Play Services) would be very helpful in handling my e-mail inbox. ProtonMail only has Google-based push…
