  1. [Proton Meet] People fixed to a dedicated room

I would like it to be posible to link people to a certain room without having to send them a link again.

If I want to connect to my design team I go to my ”Design Room” and click on de members of my team.
They then get a call in ”Meet” to come to the room.

  2. Share audio when screen sharing in Meet

It would be really useful to be able to share audio when screen sharing in proton meet. I do trainings and sometimes have brief video clips in my slide decks.

  4. Acquire the IP of BlackBerry and Manufacture Secure Phones

BlackBerry phones are making a comeback as more people seek the simplicity of a "dumb phone" that respects user privacy and offers secure, end-to-end encrypted communication.

If Proton AG acquired BlackBerry's intellectual property and resumed manufacturing the classic models that users love—with modern hardware upgrades and Proton's privacy-focused software—it would attract a large audience. Even more impactful would be if Proton developed its own privacy-first mobile operating system to challenge the Apple-Google duopoly, giving people worldwide a genuine alternative to the two tech giants that currently dominate the global smartphone market.

There is a clear surge in demand for "dumb…

  6. Proton Health & Training

Health-App: just like the others, but better privacy. Nice would be a compatibility with other services (like digital body scale, steps, ...)

Proton Training: Training app for gym, running, ... with excersises, ... I would have a lot of ideas, so contact me :)

  7. Allow importing multiple events into Proton Calendar from .ics attachments in Proton Mail

Currently, if we have an .ics attachment with a single event in a Proton mail email, we are able to import that into Proton Calendar.
However, .ics attachments that contain multiple events are not yet supported, and show this message: "This ICS file contains more than one event. Please download it and import the events in Proton Calendar". This introduces a fair amount of friction.

I get these quite a lot as I often book train journeys where both the outbound and return journeys are sent to me as two calendar events within one ICS attachment.

    Please change the Proton…

  8. Hide photo's already in albums

When you have put photo's in albums, I'd like to hide them from my main photo view so I know which photo's I still need to organize.

With google you could archive your photo's, that worked because they would still be in albums, but not visible in the main photo's view.

I would like something similar, I think having a button that hides photo's that have already been organized, or some kind of organize view with more options like this would be really helpful.

  9. Mail: Multiple Select All Glitches

The bulk select all checkbox in Proton Mail seems to apply only to the current page. So hundreds of emails on pages 2 and beyond are failing to apply the requested action (e.g. mark as read).

In fact, the the Mark as Read / Mark as Unread toggle doesn't even present a consistent action from page to page of the results. You have to remember not to accidentally mark some results as unread, as you traverse each individual page.

  10. Offline mode not working if connection is blocked

In some countries all or most Proton services are blocked. If you travel there and need to access your proton pass client or browser extension, it's not working and as Proton VPN or other VPNs are blocked too there is no way to use the tool even if the offline setting of the password manager is activated. The only way is to really turn off the wifi on the laptop and then the password manager detects that you're offline and let you access to the desktop client or the browser extension.

An expected behavior would be more than after trying…

  11. More domain names and apps for docs and sheets

Will you ever expand to other domain names (e.g. proton.be specifically) because the email I want is not available for either proton.me or protonmail.com.

Also having desktop apps for docs and sheets would be great, i like editing on desktop apps rather than my browser.

  12. CLI Apps for integrations / automations

One big drawback of using proton instead of a big tech alternative (or nextcloud) is the lack of integration with third party services for automation or productivity.

I get that being E2E, it is complicated to make such integration through webhooks. But having CLI apps as a bridge could help (just like the App for proton mail bridge, but for all the proton services (at least mail, drive, docs, calendar).

It should be easier to integrate proton into any workflow with automation platform like n8n etc...

  13. Having a " Family Email" address than can redirect to each family member

In order for multiple family members to all have access to utility bills, local tax requests, and the like related to managing a residence, it would be ideal to:
    - have a " residence@proton.me" email address used with all service providers and government entities
    - have that redirect to member 1, 2, 3 etc...

This would reproduce the goold old residence mailbox we lost with digital billing. It would avoid risking losing access to critical bills and residence management info if something happens to the sole member whose email address is used.

  14. Add CHAT FUNCTION to PROTON DOCS

Only little intervention needed to extend the structure of proton docs, to a fully functional but minimalistic chat window with an option login and an option guest. Maybe even ask Lumo to do it over night.

  15. Secure native integration of Proton services together and with external services (granular consent & scoped tokens)

Many privacy‑focused users including myself run several Proton services alongside automation platforms such as Make and Home Assistant. Because Proton does not yet expose a secure, granular API, we have to resort to work‑arounds:

Forward selected Proton Mail messages to a Gmail account.
Let Make read that Gmail inbox, filter the messages, and then push the extracted data into Google Calendar or other third‑party services.

As a result, Google (or any other intermediary) ends up with full visibility of the forwarded emails, and Make gains access to the entire mailbox, not just the specific messages we intended to share.
    These steps defeat the…

  16. Zapier integration for Mail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, and Docs

I’ve been using Proton for a while now because I really care about privacy, but it’s frustrating that there’s no direct Zapier integration for Mail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, or Docs. Adding native support would let me set up simple automated workflows without having to do everything manually or use workarounds that feel clunky. It’d make Proton way more useful for daily productivity while still keeping everything secure.

  17. Encrypted Internet over Starlink

Added protection and encrypted services over the Starlink network. This would provide a value-added feature to Starlink for those who need the added level of encryption from a trusted provider.

  18. Data Sensitivity Labels in the Proton Ecosystem

    Hi Proton Team,

Could I please suggest the addition of Data Sensitivity labels within the Proton ecosystem, applicable to both personal and business accounts.

The value of this would be that users could apply specific, tailored security controls against these sensitivity labels where appropriate. These controls would provide additional security through the data lifecycle without creating unnecessary additional friction. This would be a significant market differentiator, as far as I am aware only enterprise licenses provide these sorts of features. This would be a similar model that Microsoft and Google already implement with their zero trust initiatives.

    As default there…

  19. Plain Text Editor

Support/create a true plain text editor. Opening text/txt files from Proton Drive would open a true plain text editor instead of the Docs rich-text editor. A true plain text editor would provide a lean, efficient tool for all text-only content. I migrated from Apple to Proton because Apple Notes does not support plain text..it is glitchy with slow, bloated rich-text features (same issue with Microsoft SharePoint). A Proton text-only editor would be lean, fast, efficient...it would standout in the marketplace as the only ecosystem with a text-only editor.

  20. A Decentralized, Privacy-First Digital Identity Platform to Empower Global Freedom

    Dear Proton Team,

I write with excitement about an idea for a project that feels like a natural evolution of your mission: a self-sovereign digital identity solution that puts power back in users' hands, not governments'. In a world where centralized ID systems are becoming the norm, Proton could lead the charge toward true digital freedom. Allow me to outline the urgent problem, a ready-made solution, and why you're uniquely positioned to make it happen.

The Problem: Centralized IDs as a Slippery Slope to Surveillance
State-backed digital IDs promise efficiency but deliver vulnerability and control. Take the UK's "Brit Card,"…
