  2. Same text language as the sender (or the ability to choose) when sending encrypted emails to external addresses or when sharing documents

    Now, if a document is shared or an encrypted email to an external is sent, the notification email to the recipient comes in english, even though the sender's configuration is a different language.

    Other providers (tutamail.com) offer the possibility to choose the notification language berfore sending it.

  3. Change recovery method from SMS to alternative messengers

    Since SMS is 1/ weak (can be intercepted, non encrypted) and 2/ inconvenient (it's more difficult to sync with other devices than Signal or WhatsApp), I suggest that users can choose on which app they receive their text message when attempting to recover their account so we can also receive it through WhatsApp (less private but still encrypted) and Signal (state of the art)

  4. X.509 Certificate Authority

    I'm not sure if this would be its own product or if it could be an addition to either ProtonMail or Proton Pass. But I would like to add the ability to create and authenticate digital signatures unique to our ProtonMail email addresses would be extremely useful in both the professional and private sectors for signing markup text documents and PDFs.

  6. Select all messages in search results

    Add an option to select all search results, in the same manner that you can select all messages in inbox or other folders when you click on the "select all" checkbox:

    "You selected 50 messages. Select all in Sent."

    One thing this will allow users to do is search for sent message older than a certain date and delete them all. As it stands, we have to go through and delete them 50 messages at a time.

    I want Proton to remove the username and the email that's on the right side of the "Settings" gear in the mail website so passersby can't see your credentials that easily

  8. Proton Calendar poor UX

    Proton Calendar is overall proving very glitchy, especially regarding notifications. To the point where I'm missing meetings and managers are instituting remedial attendance training. May switch back to Google Calendar in terms of reliability.

  10. Request to merge similar or same ideas

    1: Request to merge similar or same ideas / feature requests. With option to add onto the idea. For example an idea I saw was to generate first name and last name. How about merge that idea with form fill and generate whole persona like website https://www.fakenamegenerator.com/.

    Maybe comments are already sufficient enough for this. "Changes to existing features" sounds like it could be this or already implemented features.

  12. Graphene Apps

    It would be nice to have native versions of the apps on Graphine OS, as it's security focused too. I think the only way to install them there at the moment is in a sandboxed mode, but I haven't tried because there are a few things like password management I want to retain functionality of before I make the steps to de-google. Going through the process of flashing my phone to Graphene, only to find the Proton apps aren't able to function would stop me from going that direction for the moment.

    I would like to see a photo editor in the proton drive app, with maybe some featured inspired by the tech giants (apple & Google) but running on-device or atleast from an open source encrypted server. I commonly end up going to Google photos to edit then back to proton drive and it's not really ideal.

    SIM swapping occurs and well. If it occurs hackers can just go to the proton login and reset the users password since they have control of their phone number they will be able to log in and they will be able to acess the user's mail read through them and etc only If the user has the second password setting enabled on proton pass on proton drive it won't be a lot of damage but it will be some damage.
