Improve Proton Icons in Linux
Proton icons in Linux are not only smaller than the standard 48 pixels but moreover have a very ugly white background filling out the 48 px size. Please Proton, do a proper job of the icons and size them correctly and with a transparent background, in the standard (transparent) .png format.

Simple Note sharing for Proton users.
I would like to have a Standard Note where you can share a note with other users. Note has to be editable.

Communication Channel Over Nostr
It would be amazing to have a Proton communication channel over Nostr.
Nostr is an open, simple protocol that allows decentralised, censorship-resistant communication.
It uses public key cryptography to establish a user's identity and to verify that a message has actually been sent by that user.
Data is stored and transmitted over many relays, and users can connect and publish to any number of them, making the data highly portable and the protocol resilient.
More information can be found at https://nostr.how or https://njump.me .4 votes -
Archive entire conversation
It would be great to have a setting to change the Archive function to archive an entire conversation when in conversation view. I strive for inbox-zero, and use the archive feature to get emails out of my inbox. But when a thread has an unarchived email somewhere in it, I have to go through and find it/them before it will leave my inbox. It would save time if I could archive the entire conversation. This could be a setting toggle, or a button in the web UI for a thread.

Treat subdomains as essentially identical to parent domains
Please treat nested domains like a.b.c.d as essentially identical to b.c.d and c.d.
This helps several Proton Pass features to work in a more practical manner, including autofill and password update.
Without this enhancement, Proton Pass often mistakenly creates duplicate login items, instead of prompting to update existing login items.

Content blocker
I need to use proton VPN for security, but I also want a **** blocker. Typically vpns and dns based blockers don't mix well. I would like a content blocker that would work well for adults and allow for someone else to make an admin password so I can't turn it off or get rid of it.

Create a "send again" option for emails
I have requested several times over the years that you add a one-click feature to "send again" an email. Other email programs such as Apple Mail provide this. As distinguished from Forward, Send Again creates an exact duplicate of the email in a new compose window without the forwarding lines or header. This is very important for professionals to send the same email to a new recipient that was sent to a previous one, without the forwarding lines, and have the opportunity to edit the salutation and anything else required. Please implement this feature ASAP. Thank you.

Search mail
Proton Mail: Better Search Idea - make a private searchable database of an individual's entire email account that is synced across devices. Works like it does on a desktop web session when one allows indexing of message content, but instead of keeping the index file only in the local browser's cache, it is encrypted and sent back to the email account on Proton's server (or possibly sync to Proton Drive). Any new mail session that successfully logs in to the account (desktop, mobile, web) will download the database, decrypt, index and add just the new messages, use database for the…

Proton education
Add a product similar to proton business, but for education and schools.
There are many similar products from Google, Microsoft and Apple, but I am very concerned about their privacy.2 votes -
Unable to delete invited calendar events
When I accept, or even just receive, a calendar event invitation, then Proton Calendar makes it impossible to delete the event or recurring event series.
As a result, my calendar is littered with noisy blocks for declined or cancelled events. That make it hard to see more relevant data.

Proton drive should not have right to rename directory or file during synchronisation
This append when i rename my directory directly under my files. Proton drive rename directory and files and adding « name clash date ». The application should simply transfer directories and files to the cloud and not have the right to modify anything on these objects under my files. This is a bug very dangerous.

Availability in other app stores
Although it is not a functionality as such, I believe that publishing the applications in other application stores (especially the Huawei AppGallery that allows Huawei users, without Google services, to access applications securely without relying on third-party stores) can be beneficial in helping users of Proton's services to find them and prevent them from downloading applications that impersonate the official ones of Proton

Proton Linux Distro or recommended list
This is likely so far outside of Proton's business sphere that it's an instant no-go, but... consider this a "Dear Santa," however unlikely:
Like a whole lot of people disgusted with Microsoft's Orwell 10 Terms of Use requirement that users acquiesce to coding that lays their entire computer open to the presumably angelic little MS employees in their cubicles up in Redmond, Wa, USA, I'm looking for an alternative OS so I can ditch the Microsoft Borg altogether. (Windows 7 is getting a little difficult to work with these days. 8^) And given that Apple is just as bad if…

Recipient groups
When you send a email, it is annoying to pick the recipients one by one, especially if you usually send the email to the same people. You also probably want to send different emails to same recipients so it is more secure and organized.
That is why I am suggesting recipient groups. Basically, you make a group of contacts and name it. When sending an email you can choose the group and add more groups and recipients if you want to. The group(s) that you have picked will receive the email that you have created. Simple and easy, but useful.

Document and version your API
There are a lot of places where it would be amazing to integrate the whole Proton suite. For example, into Gnome Online Accounts, which would expose seamless usage of Proton services within the Gnome interface, core apps, etc.
It is already possible to do so for your the email service by exposing locally an email server through bridge and adding it as so.
There are many use cases that would benefit if you exposed an API well documented and versioned, so that the community could implement their own solutions.

Free vpn should offer free choice of country
Free VPN is much less attractive . I miss the option to choose a server myself either in my home country or somewhere else. The downgrade is a terrible idea.

Quirks in Proton Calendar Notification UX
Proton Calendar has some strange goings on
The "Notifications" dropdown menu in the Proton Calendar Web UI provides two choices:
- notification
I do not want email notifications of upcoming events on my Proton calendars. So I use the second option, the one with the generic name. But that same option also triggers email notifications for some reason.

Proton Calendar iOS/iPadOS ignores per calendar notification settings
I use individual calendars to organize events within Proton Calendar. But when I disable all notifications for certain calendars, then Proton Calendar disregards my settings and shows iOS notifications anyway.
