  1. Beta Tester

Hi, I am currently a Beta Tester and would like to know is there any way we could be notified of updates made to each software in the Eco System. I have to manually go into each app within the Google Play store and check for updates. If we were notified we could all download latest update ASAP. I only hear of changes through this method or through the Twitter page. Many thanks. Great work, DK

  2. Proton Trouble Ticket App

Would find this much easier than the web page. All services under one app to quickly and easily submit one or more tickets for multiple issues all at the same time, instead of having to navigate and create brand new tickets for each incident from the website. Would eliminate extra steps.

  3. Lumo - Option to Disable Fake Typing Animation

I’d like to request a feature that allows users to disable the typing animation (typing indicator) when Lumo is generating a response. While I understand it adds a conversational feel, I personally prefer seeing the full response immediately without the simulated typing delay.

It would be great to have a toggle in the settings to turn this feature off for a faster, more streamlined experience.

  4. Online help documentation needs updated

Online Help Documentation needs to be updated. I have experienced incorrect online help documentation during numerous searches. My last experience was with Lumo. The search results were inaccurate when I needed to change email settings and add a new email address. I had to figure it out on my own.

If a feature of any Proton product gets changed in any way, the documentation needs to be updated and posted the same time of the product update patches get released. That is good business practice.

  5. Personal Data Removal

A new service focused around removing personal data from sites like TruePeopleSearch and Whitepages. Since the whole idea of Proton is focused around privacy, I believe it would make a great addition to the current services provided by Proton. It would make it a perfect tool for new users who getting into privacy control and for current users who are serious about their privacy. Let me know what you guys think!

  6. Spyware detection toolkit for Proton Sentinel

As an extension of Proton Sentinel, Proton could develop an application that, for example, based on the MVT (Mobile Verification Toolkit) from the Amnesty International Security Lab, would allow end users to examine their smartphones for signs of infection with spyware such as Pegasus. Proton Sentinel is already specifically aimed at particularly vulnerable people, but only offers the protection of the Proton account. A user-friendly tool to examine your own device at least for known traces of spyware, even without prior technical knowledge, would be another step towards protecting people from surveillance.

  7. Have more than 1 active subscription

It would be nice if users could have more than one subscription, as some only want Email and VPN or Drive and Mail and so on.

I have Proton Mail Plus and would like to have Proton Pass as well.

But it doesn't make sense for me to have Proton Unlimited, because I'm not going to get rid of it, as I'm not interested in the many services included.

    I apologize if I didn't explain myself.

  8. Proton Weather

With how many if not all weather services aren't safe these days. How about Proton Weather? A weather program that doesn't covertly steal your privacy. I live in The States, and the new dictator is trying to get rid of weather forecasting in some form or fashion.

  9. Clean Inbox, Clear Mind – Why Proton Mail Is My Go-To for Focused Communication

I recently made the switch to Proton Mail and it’s been a game-changer for keeping my digital life secure and clutter-free. Between the sleek interface, end-to-end encryption, and zero ads, I finally feel like my inbox respects my time and privacy.
One feature I really appreciate is the Labels and Filters—perfect for organizing emails without any data mining in the background. If you’re trying to simplify your inbox and protect your communications, Proton Mail is worth exploring.

  10. Docs

Reasonably proton docs is still missing a lot of features. Some improvements I've noticed it needs while using it are a page printer view, spacing variability, format memory (when starting a new line font and text size revert to default), precision font variability, better spacing with indented checkboxes, and an easy and elegant UI for viewing already created docs

  11. Additional times for Auto-Lock

Auto-lock is a very good idea, and I use it, of course. However, the jump from 5 minutes to an hour is really frustrating! I think there should be an "intermediate" time selection, maybe 30 minutes or so.

  12. Make the app logos semantically relevant

The current app logos follow the Google trend of keeping to a strict aesthetic at the cost of user experience. The google ones are confusing and ugly, and the proton ones are only slightly nicer to look at, but equally ambiguous as to what they represent. Unless they are labelled, i cant tell which app is which.

  13. Time tracking app

I wish Proton offered a client-side encrypted time tracking app, similar to Toggl Track. The two features missing for me in Toggl Track are the ability to automatically delete old time entries (e.g. my team set a data retention policy of 3 months) and client-side encryption.

  14. Privacy layer for large language models

A mix of Apple's private cloud computing and Duckduckgo's duck.ai, where people can purchase subscriptions to the large language models of their choice especially the ones more inclined to provide privacy to users, giving them freedom of choice and privacy when using AI.

  15. Official Flatpak support on Linux

Flatpak is a modern packaging format for Linux distributions, with the advantages of:
    - working consistently across a wide array of distributions (thus making it much easier for developers to support any Linux distro)
    - relative independence from the underlying system, making it the only distribution channel for immutable distros like Fedora Silverblue and Steam OS
    - higher security due to its sandboxing

As such, it'd be great if it was officially supported by Proton for all its native applications.

It's true that the sandbox could potentially pose some limits to the app that might not be solvable via portals…

  17. Limited email groups for family plan with a custom domain

Currently, no email groups (distribution lists) are supported for non-business plans, even with a custom domain where such lists wouldn't interfere with your wider namespaces. There are real, family oriented use cases for such lists that I think Proton should support, particularly because I've lost them when migrating from Google. The two examples I personally care about:

    1. One small distribution list for my wife and me - we use this email address when creating accounts on web sites where emails might be time sensitive and important, such as banking. There are literally only two recipients.

    2. For many years, each of…

  18. Reminders in emails

Integrate reminders in emails. 1.) remind me later 2.) add to calendar? 3.) schedule this? 4.) add to contact’s for detected signatures or given business cards like photos. Allow import using some sort of (client side?) ocr and allow for import to contacts (add to existing/new contact).

Calendar app with integrations of emails and todo/reminders.

  19. Webinar

The possibility to host webinars for a lot of people (like zoom, webinaris, google meet, teams, etc.) but where users (webinar viewers) don't have to have an account to join, end to end encrypted, with the possibility to record, send the recording to viewers, maybe subtitles, etc.

  20. Add Session Management for Mobile Apps

Please add session management functionality to the Proton mobile apps (iOS and Android), similar to what is currently available on the web.

Right now, users can view and manage active sessions (e.g. see which devices are logged in, their IP addresses, and sign them out remotely) only through the web interface. This is a critical security feature, especially for those who frequently use Proton services on mobile devices or share access across multiple devices.

Having session management on mobile would:

    Improve overall account security.

Allow users to detect unauthorized access from their phones.

Enable quick session termination in case a
