  1. Set a Default Self-Destruct on all incoming mail.

To keep inboxes, and even folders, under control I find myself using the self destruct frequently. However, it takes time to set for many emails. I suggest being able to set a default self destruct timer on every incoming (and outgoing) email, that I could disable only on the emails that I would actually like to keep long-term.

Moving from basic functionalities like email, drive, photo storage, password managers, basically everything where data gets involved need to be a real simple single button transfer solution for any consumer. 3. Launch this and focus on distribution from day 1: Introducing Proto, world's only privacy tightened platform to prototype your best ideas

Launch this and focus on distribution from day 1 (Pre promote that is) : Introducing Proto, world's only privacy tightened platform to prototype your best ideas from mind to mvp.

    End to end secured.

(Unlike other platforms that likely see everything you are doing. All your ideas and concepts and wireframes and... you get the point.)

Build the MVP within the platform.

Let your intial users test it within the platform.

Proto ≠ a 'better' vibecoding app.
    Proto ≠ Figma Make.

(I am adding this because this is the problem with experts. They immediately associate a term or a concept…

  4. [Proton Drive] Avoid embedding email in macOS CloudStorage provider folder name

    Summary
    - Request: Use a non-identifying provider-folder name for Proton Drive on macOS instead of embedding the user’s email in the folder name under ~/Library/CloudStorage.
    - Goal: Prevent exposing user email/PII in local filesystem paths while preserving Finder and File Provider integration.

    Problem
    - Current folder names like ProtonDrive-joe@example.com expose users’ emails in paths, backups, logs, screenshots, and scripts.
    - This risks accidental sharing of PII (e.g., in support tickets or screenshots).

    Preferred solution
    - Register the provider folder as ProtonDrive-.
    - - Example: /Users//Library/CloudStorage/ProtonDrive-8f3a2b/
    - - : an 8–12 character stable, non-reversible token (hex or base62) mapped server-side to…

Subject: Proposal: Triple-Loop Architecture for Next-Gen LLMs – Solving Alignment via Meta-Cognition

    Dear Research and Engineering Team,

I am writing to propose a new architectural paradigm for Large Language Models (LLMs) inspired by neuro-mechanical theories of human cognition (specifically the distinction between Short-Term and Long-Term memory loops).

Current LLMs function primarily as massive Long-Term Memory systems (statistical pattern matching). While effective, they lack a mechanism for inhibition, strategic oversight, and ethical governance. This proposal suggests a Triple-Loop Architecture that introduces a "Meta-Cognitive" layer to solve the alignment problem at the architectural level.
    The Core Concept: Triple-Loop Architecture

    Instead of a…

  6. Warn if outgoing message is missing an attachment

When I click Send in a new Mail message, warn me if the body text refers to an attachment (e.g. "attached is...", "see attachment...", etc.) but there is no attachment.

(Obviously this would require that Proton scan the body text; not sure if that's something that's prohibited by Proton privacy policies. But the scanning would be done locally, so it shouldn't be an issue.)
