  1. Scheduled export from the application and/or export function in pass-cli

This would allow us to automate backups without having to remember to do it manually.

  2. Proton Pass Android: Integrate with KDE Connect

KDE Connect has a "Sync Clipboard" feature. Unfortunately, Android no longer allows passive watching of the clipboard due to privacy reasons, so KDE Connect requires a manual button press (via the Send Clipboard quick tile shortcut) instead.

This feature would possibly integrate with the KDE Connect app, syncing the clipboard immediately after I click to copy the code.

  3. It would be great if I could import from the old Ascendo DataVault. It isn't on your list.

Allow the import of information from the old outdated Ascendo DataVault password manager. It isn't currently on your list. DataVault supports an export of CSV files but I don't know if they will work with Proton Pass.

  4. Expand Proton Pass auto-lock duration options

Please expand the available options for the “Auto-lock after” setting in Proton Pass.

The current auto-lock duration options are too limited for users who want Proton Pass to stay unlocked longer on trusted personal devices while still keeping automatic locking enabled as a safety mechanism.

    Suggested new options:

    • 1 day
    • 1 week
    • 1 month
    • Custom

For the Custom option, users should be able to enter a numeric value and select the unit:

    • Minutes
    • Hours
    • Days
    • Weeks
    • Months

    Example custom values:

    • 12 hours
    • 3 days
    • 2 weeks
    • 2 months

    Why this matters:

Different users have different threat models. On shared or…

  5. Option to hide some elements

I would like to have an option to prevent elements (logins, aliases etc.) to be visible in the central "recent" panel. It happens sometimes that others might see my Proton Pass open (e.g. when I need to copy a credentials while sharing a screen) and I don't want others to see I am using certain services or websites.

Maybe it could a more general option to set elements as hidden, so they are also not visible in vaults until one switches "unhide" toggle.

  6. Windows credential manager secrets --> proton pass

A direct, end-to-end way to migrate Web and Windows user credentials from the Windows Credential Manager (WCM) into Proton Pass is a practical and secure approach.

A system that bypasses these intermediaries requires a secure pipeline that extracts, translates, and cryptographically encapsulates the data locally before injecting it into the Proton Pass ecosystem.

Windows Credential Manager distinguishes between Generic credentials (where passwords are retrievable via the Win32 CredEnumerate/CredRead API by the owning user) and Domain/Web credentials (where passwords are often opaque even to the owning user through the API).

To programmatically extract these credentials without a third-party application, the system…

  8. Retrieve SMS Codes automatically

When logging into an account that uses SMS-based 2FA, Proton Pass should automatically detect the incoming OTP and offer to autofill it with a single tap — just like it already does for TOTP codes.

This could be done using Android's SMS Retriever API, similar to what was implemented by Dahslane and other password managers.

  9. Proton Pass - Auto Lock App "immediately" not available for business plan but for free plan

    Dear product team,

I observed that there is one option what is available for the PROTON free plan but not for the paid business plan.

The auto-lock function for the Proton Pass app has the following option:

    free-plan: immediately / 1 minutes / 2 minutes / 5 minutes / 10 minutes / 1 hour / 4 hours)

    paid - plan (business) : DISABLED / 1 minutes / 2 minutes / 5 minutes / 10 minutes / 1 hours

For business users this setting is handled on organization level with the config item "Lock app after inactivity -
    Organization members will…

  10. "Create Duplicate" option should create an identical duplicate including attachments

When creating a duplicate of an entry, it doesn't actually create identically same entry, because it strip off the attachments. I have to manually add each attachment, rename every single attachment once again for duplicated entry. Here's an example use case:
If I want to share a secure note with some of attachments after months, I wouldn't share the actual entry. Instead I would create an identical duplicate entry and check every field for validity. There are scenarios where I have to remove many fields or attachments from a shared note. In case of sharing password entry, this becomes even…

  11. Suggest time to change passwords through Pass Monitor (i.e., after 90 days, three months, etc.).

I used to subscribe to Norton. One of the features it had was monitoring when passwords were old and suggesting changes. Options given were remind after 90 days, remind after six months, or do not remind. This would not be a mandatory change, only a suggestion to keep password/account secure.

  12. Add Additional Family Members to Proton Pass Family

For families with more than six members (we’re a blended family with over five children between us), it would be great to have the option of adding an extra licence or two at a proportionate, discounted rate to the family plan.

I’m not expecting this to be free — I’m more than happy to pay the proportionate cost.
What are Proton’s thoughts on this?

    Thanks

  13. Account information for Login with Credentials

Proton is an outstanding tool for storing secrets, passkeys, and more.
But I also have another problem that a password manager could solve.

What "Login with" a provider have I used on this particular page?
Some pages support Google, others Facebook, others LinkedIn, and even GitHub.
In one case, it can be all 4 options; in another, only GitHub.

Remembering what I've used to log in to the page is quite challenging.
It would be good if Proton could store information so that I could choose the "Login with" button and even the account used in this provider, as, for…

  14. Fuzzy match on/off switch in proton pass

Enable a toggle switch for enabling or disabling fuzzy match on Proton pass.

That will forces the manager to only show credentials that match the full app1.domain.com vs. app2.domain.com.

I know most users want their amazon.com login to work on smile.amazon.com or www. amazon.com without creating new entries. To achieve this, managers "fuzzy match" anything ending in the same main domain.

Having an on / off switch while saving the credential, will let you choose and indicate the password manager for which subdomains you kept the fuzzy match OFF and for which you kept it ON.
    In this way…

  16. Option to approve or notify when a process accesses the SSH agent

Similar to 1Password, it would be awesome to get OS-native prompts to approve/notify whenever a process tries to access the SSH agent and one of its keys.

    See https://developer.1password.com/docs/ssh/agent/security#authorization-model

  17. Add an option to filter logins by Vaults in ProtonPass web extension app

Pass web extension app DESPERATELY needs an option to filter login infos per vault, as it is it makes no sense to separate logins in different vaults if we can't filter them out in the web extension app.

  19. Allow users to select minimize to tray or close desktop app

Currently, the Linux desktop app closes to tray by the default. However, it would be important to allow users to change this behavior by specifying if they want the app to shutdown instead of minimizing to tray upon closing the window.
