3. Unlock with biometrics AND pin code on mobile

   Add an option to unlock with biometrics AND pin code on mobile so shoulder surfers will not be able to login and if i'm asleep/drunk nobody can use my finger to open Proton Pass.

5. Improving Support for Manually Importing from Unsupported Password Managers

   I really wanted to buy Proton Unlimited for 1 year but had to first test a few things.

   And unfortunately ProtonPass doesn't support importing 2FA codes, Notes, Wi-Fi passwords and custom fields from HeyLogin password manager.

   Currently my only option is to manually rewrite HeyLogin's exported CSV file to ProtonPass format.

   And rearranging almost 700 items just to use ProtonPass is just not going to happen.

   If the only thing I needed to do was changing the words of the headers inside the CSV file (1st line of the file) from HeyLogin's to ProtonPass's format without moving them around, that would have been perfectly doable.

   Unfortunately, ProtonPass's CSV Import feature conflicts with several of HeyLogin's headers.

   For example HeyLogin stores every detail for a Login item such as username, email, 2FA code, every URL and each App under different headers but ProtonPass expects them under the same header or doesn't support multiple header of the same type and for some of them there is no supporting header at all.

   I tried all the other password imports and only dashlane imported anything properly and even then it didn't import everything, only some sites, a lot of passwords without any of the other fields (such as username, url or app name) and a few of the apps but without all their fields.

   After this I tried other password managers and I believe it was Keeper that allowed me to manually choose to change or ignore the headers of my CSV file to the ones keeper supports.

   Unfortunately even keeper doesn't allow multiple headers of the same type nor for parsing several field's value into one (like additional URLs or App names).

   Choosing your own "custom field name" for each "custom field value" header you replace isn't possible either and so a lot of entries are created that should be one.

   Or you could just accept the fact that you have to manually modify and create over 200 items, Well that wasn't happening either.

   So for now my Proton Account is practically useless, as I really wanted to use several of your services together and without Proton Unlimited's annual discount they become much more expensive than your competition.

   I really wanted to buy Proton Unlimited for 1 year but had to first test a few things.

6. Start Proton Pass together with your pc.

   Now you have to start Proton Pass separate after you have initiated your pc. It would be nice if in Proton Pass is the option (tickbox) to start together with you pc.

7. For Business, add customer portal tool to store private information from customers, a customer vault if you will

   I'd like to interact with my firm clients via a secure portal where we can collaborate and upload documents that we can both view. I'd like for them to access their private and secure information on an encrypted site such as Proton

8. Title: Windows app UX issues: fixed minimum window height and layout shifting due to scrollbar behavior

   The Windows app has several strange and frustrating UX/design decisions.

   ---

   1) Fixed minimum window height makes layout unusable

   Current behavior:

   • The app has a minimum window height that cannot be reduced.
   • If I have a 2x2 layout (4 codes total), I cannot resize the window to fit exactly those blocks.
   • There is always a large empty area at the bottom — roughly ~70% of a code block height.

   Why this is bad:

   • Wastes screen space
   • Prevents clean, compact layouts
   • Feels completely unnecessary for a codes-based UI

   Expected behavior:

   • Allow free vertical resizing
   • Let the window snap tightly to the actual content (code blocks)
   • No forced empty space at the bottom

   ---

   2) Scrollbar appearance changes window width and breaks visual consistency

   Current behavior:

   • When codes don’t fit vertically, a scrollbar appears.
   • When the scrollbar appears, the window width increases on the right to make room for it.

   • However, the scrollbar is not always visible:

     • It only appears when I hover the window and start scrolling
     • ~90% of the time, it is hidden because my frequently used codes are at the top and I don’t scroll

   Resulting problem:

   • Most of the time, the window has uneven right padding
   • When scrolling starts, the window suddenly changes width
   • This creates constant visual instability

   Why this makes no sense:

   • If the scrollbar is overlay-style (auto-hiding), it should overlay the content, not resize the layout

   • Browsers solved this years ago:

     • Overlay scrollbars do not reflow content
     • There are usually options for “overlay” vs “layout-affecting” scrollbars

   Expected behavior:

   • Either:

     • Always reserve space for the scrollbar (classic behavior), or
     • Use a true overlay scrollbar that does not change window size

   • Do not dynamically resize the window only when the scrollbar briefly appears

   ---

   Summary

   • Remove or reduce the minimum window height
   • Allow precise resizing to content
   • Fix scrollbar behavior so it does not affect window dimensions
   • Keep window borders and layout stable at all times

   Right now, the app feels visually inconsistent and unnecessarily restrictive for something that should be compact and predictable.

9. Delete your personal contact info from Google and of Data Brokers

   Similar functionality to PrivacyBee, DeleteMe etc so removing your info from data brokers. MVP product would be to collaborate and offer phone number masking.

10. Full features for Authenticator on Linux (like export)

    AFAICT Authenticator on Linux can only export code in json format. So, for example, there's no way to transfer from Proton to Google auth. It would be nice if the Linux version was fully functional.

11. Enable Proton Pass browser extension to be pinned

    Currently, the Proton Pass browser extension drops-down from the browser toolbar for use, but when the page being displayed is clicked, the extension disappears. This is annoying, for usually, one is about to copy-n-paste both a website user ID and a password, hence, one must again click on the extension button to copy the password. Please enable the extension to be pinned so that the user has control over when the extension is visible.

12. Please add some usable icons that look like the default vaults

    There are defined vaults, but there aren't icons that even come close to matching them. Like maybe a bank, credit card, passport, etc... These icons are awful. Can we import our own or something?

13. Proton Authenticator: MFA Token Tagging or Vaulting

    The Proton Authenticator app doesn't currently have any ability to either "tag" MFA tokens, add them to a dedicated logical directory, or add them to a dedicated profile/vault (similar to the vaults in Proton Pass). This is definitely an area for improvement as searching through possibly hundreds of tokens all in the same logical directory is less than ideal. Please add this capability.

16. Authenticator Warning

    I used the Aegis authenticator prior to switching to the Proton authenticator app. One of the nice features was the numbers changing from blue to red at the 10-second mark and the phone vibration activating at the 5-second mark. I would like to see this feature added to the Proton authenticator.

17. Have a clear & accessible button OR keyboard shortcut to lock Proton Pass (desktop and browser extension)

    It can be helpful to have a clearly-identifiable lock button for both the browser extensions and desktop apps. I use Firefox on my MacBook and I work at environments where I have to physically move away from my laptop ever so often, and have to move around a quite a lot. It'd be less fatiguing and (importantly) more secure if I could quickly lock my the desktop app and/or extension before moving away from my laptop. Just a little QoL feature that would be fantastic :-)

18. GPU Acceleration Issues

    Please consider adding an option under Settings to enable/disable GPU acceleration for each app. Some systems struggle with displaying content and can appear to flash violently when rendering. Disabling GPU and forcing CPU to render could eliminate this issue in most cases.

    Could you make the "generated password history" cross-plateform ?
    Because if I generate one on my phone, and after that I check on my PC, the generated password does not appear there.... also happens the other way round.

20. Make Autenticator Codes visible in App

    Currently it is only possible to either see every code at once or see none at all. Please add an "eye"-button next to every code that makes this specific code visible, while all the others remain hidden.

    Similar to the passwords in Pass.
