  1. Limited vault administrator

Please create a separate user role which is able to manage all vaults like an vault-owner or vault-admin, can see all items in a vault, but is not able to reveal, copy or use any hidden field like the password filed.
Would be very helpful in larger organizations where the central IT creates and manages all vaults, but should not be able to see all passwords from all users.

  2. Suspending User Access

I would like to have the ability to suspend a user (in Proton Business).

Currently, an admin is only able to revoke all sessions or completely delete a user, but there are situations where we'd like the ability to (temporarily) suspend a user.

  3. Create reverse alias from Proton pass CLI

It would be nice to have the ability to create a reverse alias straight from the CLI instead of having to use the extension, or simplelogin interface etc...

  4. Allow changed cert fingerprint for Proton pass

If the fingerprint for proton.me (cert chain) been changed. Eg many companies unpack and repack the tls packages and self sign the packages before sending it to the client.
It is great that Proton pass notice this, really awesome, maybe the only password manager that check this?
However instead of just hang the win-app, perhaps ask the user if this is OK and allow it. I mean there is a valid root cert in the store that is approved by me.

  5. Allow Proton Duo account holders to share a vault in Proton Pass

Allow a vault to be shared between Proton Duo family members. We used this is Lastpass. There was a shared folder which allowed the admin to move a password entry into which gave the other user read only access to that password.

  6. Proton Pass/Authenticator as UI for TOTPs stored in Yubikeys

I would love to use Proton Pass (or probably Authenticator would be a better fit?) to generate the TOTPs instead of the yubico app, while keeping the secrets on the yubikey.

  7. disable alias from proton mail

I thought I had hallucinated and was persuaded I could disable or deactivate email alias from Proton Mail.

But since alias created with Proton Pass will mostly go to the same account Proton Mail, why is there options to disable/deactivate aliases directly within the inbox?

  8. Search results should show count for results from other vaults

Way too often, I will search for a password, only to end up with no results, or otherwise feel like my passwords are missing. This creates panic, but the real issue is I had a vault selected (which wasn't the vault containing the item I was looking for). I've talked to other users and they have also experienced this.

I see this as an easy fix: at the bottom of the search results, it should say something like "and ## additional items in other vaults. [search all items]"

I've experienced this on mobile (android), desktop (mac), and browser (chrome).

  9. Organization for Pass Contents

Organization is rather important, especially with the sheer amount that one can often have.
Being able to organize at will would likely be a worthwhile feature.

For example, if you want to put "x" above "y" vault, you simply cannot. The order is defined by when it was created, not by the user.
This would tie in nicely to the possible feature of sub-folders & the like, currently listed as "under review".
A sub-folder system, if implemented, would drastically benefit as well from this ability to re-ordered at will.

Which, the "alphabetical" sorting within Vaults does respect numerical assignments, but…

  11. Disable tray icon on Linux clients

Critically helpful if the tray icon could be disabled or hidden, so that when we close Proton Pass, the process terminates properly. This is especially important for the Linux client, where we often work with limited resources and need efficient process management. Currently, tray icon on Debian creates all sorts of issues like duplicate processes and tray icon staying active despite using Exit menu item.

  12. a way to import saved login/password info from Meta Quest

As Meta is supporting ProtonPass on the Quest, and even accomodated the extension for their web browser, I wonder if we can work out a way to extract the saved logins/passwords from the Quest browser?

  13. Notes + folder + mooving

I went from Google Notes to Proton Notes, thank you for the possibility to have notes in Proton ! lot of people need this

    • I suggest a possibility to move text bloc easyly in a note with sliding the paragraphs like in google notes

    • and a way to simply pin notes , they all goes up, in order : the most important to the less important, in vertical presentation.

    • do we need a "edit button" ? I don't think so, i just wanna touch the note and i can enter and edit it directly like in G-notes

    • can we have…

  15. Recover accounts for family or team members (Family Plan)

My family (6 people) won´t move to Proton (and Proton Pass) until there is a feature like 1Password has:

"You can restore access for a family or team member if they can’t sign in to or unlock 1Password." More information here: https://support.1password.com/recovery/

There are always people in your family who keep forgetting their password and hence using "one for all", and still able to forget that, once in a while...

Be able to recover an account access for a family member is a must have.
BTW, like the idea to have a bigger family than 6 person.

  16. UI language selection (Android)

Proton Mail Android client has option to change UI language to another. Same is needed for Proton Pass. My phone is in my native language but I prefer to use technical apps in English as most UI terms are more familiar to me in English.

  17. Import iPassword (Password Manager-) .backup file

I want to import a backup of my iPassword database. I don't see an option for this file type. iPassword is an app from the iOS iTunes store.

  18. More Details and Reasons for Weak or Vulnerable Password

In Proton Pass, clicking on any of the Login Items, it shows the security level of the password. Very often it mark my existing passwords as "Weak" or "Vulnerable". ***But, it is IMPORTANT to let users know the REASON for that!!!

Like Apple iCloud Passwords, it tells you why that specific password is graded as weak. Maybe because it is reused too frequently? Leaked in other databases? Or simply the combination of letters and numbers is not secure? Too short? Too simple? But Proton Pass DOES NOT tells you why!

What I mean is, there are a lot of reasons…

  20. TOTP View in Proton Pass

Currently, Proton Pass does not have a special view for time-based one-time passwords (TOTPs), a function that exists in Proton Authenticator. In my opinion, a similar TOTP view in Proton Pass would be desirable to get the 2FA codes quickly and easily.
