Build an SSH Agent for Linux-based operating systems so we can use our SSH keys right out of the vault without having to install them into the filesystem.

    Reviewing Proton Pass as 1Password replacement. This is yet another missing feature that 100% critical for me. Very much a shame ProtonPass is so far behind with features like this and makes it a non-starter

    Would be great to be able to define a policy for the ssh-agent (e.g. require authentication per use). Could potentially be used to harden your system a little against those current supply-chain-attacks.

    Also consider having this in Windows too. BitWarden has similar capabilities where it auto generates an SSH key and uses the ssh agent. You also can choose if it always authenticates, does it when your passwords are unlocked, or every time you try authentication to the server

    Hey, that's literally why I have Proton and 1Password.
    I use Proton Mail, Proton VPN, but I DON'T HAVE SSH Agent - that's very, very sad.
    I really need this.

    - Proton devs MUST take a look at 1Password's developer tools. (Like a .env)

    I still use 1Password because of this only missing feature in Pass. Other than that, as a Unlimited subscriber, I use everything from Proton.

    If Proton had the same support for SSH agents that 1password did, I would cancel my 1password subscription and upgrade my Proton account immediately.

    hello everyone, i moved from 1password as well because with ulimited i have great value and i also want to support the great things proton is doing for everyone.
    ssh would be **** af ngl. i miss it :(
