  2. Being able to send emails using the alias address and not the main one

    When they send us an email to the alias we have created, that email is forwarded to the main email but we cannot answer using the alias we have created. It would be good for our security, to be able to respond with that Alias.

  4. mouse scroll wheel in app support

    The scrolling gesture works fine on the Apple magic mouse, but I normally use a 3 button mouse with a scroll wheel. That works on the proton pass web but not on the proton pass app.

  5. The ability to either stay on the newly created item or have the ability to directly to that item without search

    Currently when a new item is created, the only way to copy the username and/or password is to select the username or password as you’re editing it. Once the new item is created, the app defaults to going back to the vault without a link to view the newly created item. It would be nice to have a quick link to view the new item and/or have the app remain on the newly created item.

  6. Store and manage subscriptions

    In addition to things like credit card numbers and frequent flier numbers, another thing I'd like to use Proton Pass for is to store subscriptions, with their monthly or yearly or ??? cost and expiration date (if there is one).

  7. Put the MFA Fill option below the box like passwords are

    I'd love to see MFA codes being clicked below the box they're asked for in rather than appearing in the top right.

    (see Safari experience with Apple Passwords on Mac)

  9. Legacy Feature

    There should be a Legacy feature option that allows a trusted family member or friend to log in to the account if the primary holder passes away. The key to the account should only be given to the account holder when they are marked as deceased. Apple already offers a similar option for iCloud and iPhone access.

  10. In desktop app, allow expansion of the Note section

    In the Linux desktop app, the Note section is only five lines high. I have many notes with dozens of lines in them, and since I can't search the text I have to either scroll the text 5 lines at a time, or put the cursor in the box and use up/down arrow to scroll to find the desired text. It would be extremely helpful if, like Bitwarden, this field could be expanded within the application window to take up more space.

  11. Watch compromised passwords

    There is no feature to detect compromised passwords, only email adresses which is simply unuseful.
    As in 1password, It only helps me when I know which passwords are leaked and have to be changed. This is the only important information, so the darknet feature is a nice salesfeature, but without a real security impact.

    please detect compromised passwords and display them.

  12. be like 1password, or "know what top improve"

    I do not want to be rude because I really want to love Proton.
    But 1passsword does almost everything perfect in means of handling, smoothnes, user experience.
    I just do not want to use it, but would lovfe to use Proton for several reasons.

    So, if you want to know what to improve: see how 1pwd works and just build these features into your app :)
    That would make your Proton Pass way more ahead of 1pwd!

  13. Remove unneccessary fields In Items

    Remove unneccessary fields In Items: I do not need login, 2fWAS or whatever for my vault at home. I just need a Code. Please make all fields removable, if we do not need them. feels klunky otherwise.

  15. Add "Nearby" Feature like with 1PW. I use it almost every day in 1PW and this is one feature that prevents me and my family from switching.

    So: safe the location coords of an item and bring it up in a "nearby" category on the dashboard of the app.
    So you have all codes needed (vaultcodes etc) at hand easily. It is such a great feature you MUST implement it :)

  17. View Alias After Creation in IOS

    Not sure if this is a bug or a feature but when I create an alias in the IOS app I am then returned to the vault. I then have to search for the newly created alias in order to copy it. After creation the user should be taken to the alias item where they can then copy/manage the alias they just created. Its small but impacts user experience since in most cases you want to copy an alias after creating it.

  18. Automatische Updates unter Windows

    Proton Pass wird unter Windwos 11 bei mir nicht immer automatisch auf die aktuellste Version aktualisiert. Gerade musste ich wieder mühsam v1.30.1 manuell herunterladen und installieren. Es wäre gut wenn man zum einen die aktuell installierte Version in der App schneller sehen könnte, als auch eine manuelle Prüfung auf neuere Versionen in der App möglich wäre.

  19. Adjust Vault Icon Colors to Match Between Dark and Light Mode

    I like the color options with dark mode but they change into completely different colors when changing to light mode. It would be nice if they could match between both modes. For example, yellow in dark mode changes to orange in light mode. I would use dark mode but I have bad eyesight so dark mode is pretty hard for me to read. Creating our own custom colors would be a great feature too.
