Username & Email for single ProtonPass saved Login
Currently you can only save either a username or your email with a single login in proton pass.
However some services may require a registration with an email-address and then have the login process only working with a username.
Id would be really helpful if you could save both in a single saved login in ProtonPass. You also could then add the ability to decide which one of these is primarly used for logins.

Allow Proton Authenticator to Sync codes to Proton cloud.
Allow Proton Authenticator to Sync codes to Proton cloud.
Google allows me to sync my list of Authenticator codes to my account in the cloud.
If I lose my mobile phone, and can access my Google account via a recovery method, I can then access all of my data, including my Authenticator codes list, and re-download it onto the Google Authenticator app on a new phone, and I am back up and running.Without this cloud sync feature, I am wary of adopting Proton Authenticator since losing my phone amounts to losing access to all services - and potentially finances/crypto.

Proton Pass with encrypted local database
Since I distrust all cloud-based services, Proton Pass is only an option for me if the data can be stored in a very well-encrypted local database!

Make the extension in the browser smaller
Hi Proton Pass team,
First, thanks for the great extension — it works reliably and I appreciate the attention to security and functionality. I have a suggestion to improve the user experience of the popup/flyout UI that I think would make it feel cleaner and more modern.
Problem: the current flyout feels large and a bit cluttered. When I open it I want to quickly find an item, not scan through a lot of visual noise.
Proposal: introduce a compact, customizable flyout option that focuses on clarity and platform consistency:
Compact mode: a minimal flyout that shows either a simple…

Use same pin as PC version of Pass
Hi - I have a comment regarding the Android version of Pass for possible future update. In the android version it allows for bio-metric unlocking with an option to use "system lock" when biometric fails and not the pin I have set up for the PC version/browser extension. The concern I have is that if someone has your mobile device pin they can now access your Pass account data. I think a lot of people are somewhat lax with their phone/tablet pins as they often let others(kids or significant others) log into their phone or tablet. It would be nice…

Links for Passwords (Without Sharing)
It would be nice to have a function to generate links for passwords without sharing them. I like to include links to passwords in my documentation but I'm unable to create a direct link to a specific password.

KeePass .kdbx Import
Allow Proton Pass import from kdbx instead of just XML. The protocol is open and it allows to transfer the attachments and maybe also the OTP.
A migration from KDBX to Proton Pass means in my case for example to check more than 700 entries and to update them manually.3 votes -
Pass: Folders / expandable groups for organizing credentials and card data
Add a way to group saved entries into “folders” (expandable sections) so users can organize sensitive data more clearly.
Example: a user stores multiple bank cards. Instead of separate flat rows, they want a parent group like “Bank of America” (collapsed by default). When expanded, it shows nested items such as:
- Online banking login/password
- Linked cards (each card as a sub-item)
- Notes or additional related entries
This would make the list easier to work and reduce clutter while keeping related credentials together.

Support pkpass
Adding support for pkpass files in Proton Pass would allow users to store and manage their passes (such as boarding passes, loyalty cards, and event tickets) directly within Proton Pass. This would provide a single, secure location for all important passes and tickets, enhancing both convenience and security. Additionally, it would make Proton Pass more versatile and useful in everyday scenarios.

Automatically select the correct vault based on active Chrome profile
I have multiple chrome profiles (for work, personal and school) and I have created a different Proton vault for each of these. It would be nice if I could associate a specific Chrome profile to each vault so that this vault is automatically active in that window without me manually having to change it. This would also automatically limit the number of autofill options I am shown to just one vault and would also ensure that the correct vault is always selected when saving a new password.

Hide indicator on Proton Pass browser extension
I don't like that Proton Pass's browser extension shows the number of logins available for a site. (On Safari, for reference.) I sometimes want to show someone something over my shoulder; they don't need to see I have multiple YouTube logins or things like that. Not to mention the red dot says "something is actionable" to me when, half the time, I'm already logged into the site. I don't see an option to toggle that off and would love one. Thanks.

Ability to add Password fields or Generate Passwords on Text and Hidden fields
We currently have only the ability to add 3 types of fields (Text, 2FA secret key (TOTP), and Hidden). None of them allows you to use the generate password feature. Some of my accounts require storing multiple passwords, and it is a pain in the neck to generate a password using another service and then copy/paste it into one of the existing fields.
I suggest either giving users the ability to generate passwords for the Text and Hidden fields, or creating a new Field "Password" to store additional passwords/secrets.

In Password use different colors for special characters, numbers, alphabetic characters.
Bitwarden has a very nice feature that shows special characters, numbers, and alphanumeric characters with different colours. This is great since allow the user to spot the correct characters quite easily.
Bitwarden uses the following convention:
* Alphabetic characters = white
* Numbers = magenta
* Special Characters = Red4 votes
