Folders and nested subfolders
I want to be able to use folders and sub-folders. I use strongbox on iOS which is based on keepass. It allows for as many folders and sub-folders that you want. I use folders to keep my stuff organized. I don't like having all my passwords and whatever in one big long list. I also using keepass as a bookmark manager. I really like the idea of your "vaults", but again I have over like 3000 bookmarks and folders are really needed. Also attachments with built in viewer is also important. I like to convert a lot of websites to PDF and store them as attachments, so I can view them later. Keepass is the only one that can view said items, everyone else you have to download said item to view the attachment.

It would be ideal to have folders on Proton Pass, as I want to migrate from Bitwarden

Please pick up on this soon. This is a critical feature of any password manager. Proton Pass is not usable without folders. I can't navigate my way around!

Folders and subfolders is such a basic feature of Keepass that I have relied on for years that I was a bit stunned to see it was not in place in Proton Pass! Like others here I got in a mess when first importing about 1000 passwords that ended up dumped all together. Then only to discover Proton pass has no ability to select all, or use standard shift arrow down to select multiple entries for delete! So after a lot of click, click, click, click (1000 times) I could delete all and start again.
Not the best start to Proton pass especially as I upgraded for this.
Seriously this has to be sorted out, hierarchy of folders is such a basic feature and will be used by anyone moving from keepass type managers.

I totally vote for this. You can divide by categories or type of password.
Folders would allow me to create something for secure notes for example. I could keep all my notes in one folder

We have so many passwords, we can not only structure them via the faults. To share one vault with folders is so important, please add this feature - thanks!

I cannot move my data yet without this feature. I have thousands of passwords, many with the same name but in different folders. I would never be able to find anything without this hierarchy.

I will like to add that this request is about folders and sub-folders on proton pass. I made a comment about "attachments" and turns out people want that feature as well.
There are two other requests for the attachments feature,

That is the one thing that I'm missing from Bitwarden.

-Not having folders & sub-folders is a show stopper to migrate from keePassXC
-capability to view common attachments (like txt, pdf, ...) with user approved viewers -

Great idea.
I imagine the "Vault" tab could be separated into three sections:
1. Detected: The login that matches the current webpage is automatically displayed on the top.
2. Folders: Users can create folders, drag logins into the folders, and collapse / retract them at will.
3. Logins: The remaining logins that are not sorted into folders are displayed at bottom section (sorted by name or some other method).

I'd like to see this too. Per-vault and/or global folders. I could have say, a "Forums" vault, then folders for each category/niche of the forums for easy finding, say a "pet" forum login, or "tech" forum login, and more.

This is the last piece I need to make the jump over to Proton Pass.
I have around 1000 saved passwords. If I use the Vaults in place of folders, there ends up being too many Vaults and it is still too much without sub folders. -

Unfortunately Proton Pass is pretty much unusuable without folders/subfolders for me. As a web developer I have 5-10 different passwords for each client.

This should be a priority. This is the only feature that's keeping me from making the switch to Proton Pass

Adding my votes too. I don't care if it's named vault, folder, or ProtonCoolBoxes, but I need hierarchy in my password manager (Bitwarden user for years).
After importing my password, I just realized I had to delete everything and uninstall the extension because of this.
I have multiple combos with the same usernames and different passwords (using them to store login access on web servers). The only way I can retrieve the correct ones is by having a sub-folder structure. I do store some of my customers' passwords upon their request, and I like having these in a sub-folder structure so it's not mixed up in my passwords, or mixed up between them.
Also, OCD...

It's critical and will stop many customers from moving across to Proton.

Proton Pass is in desperate need of folders and sub folders, like you have in roboform, I imported all my password and they are in a mess one big list. It just looks ridiculous so much so I've switched back to roboform.
I don't like the idea of vaults, passwords ontop of passwords, that's what 2A Is designed for. And charging for folders isn't right.
