Yes - schedule view or event view, whatever you want to call it would be great. Also the option to print it is needed. It's nice to use the recurring event features to setup key events throughout the year and then be able to have that on paper for quick reference when not in front of a screen.

Yes, the boundaries of the checkbox should also be fixed so that the whole visual of the box is active for selection even when the mouse pointer is towards the lower edge. if the mouse is too low, but still over the box, the box is not actually active for selecting and will instead open the email if you click and then you lose all prior selections.

I agree. I love the idea of the desktop app, but it would need to have it's own regular and advanced settings that operate independently of the web settings so that users can have settings when using a browser that are appropriate for that method, but have other settings when using the desktop app since that is a different method.

Yes, print option is needed. Please. Having a screen in front of you at all times is not necessary and a good ol' paper print out of a year's events for reference is useful.
