    "Standardization is important for two reasons. The first is that Proton remains committed to the open web. Email is one of the most successful open standards that has ever existed, and a core part of that success is interoperability."

    I'm afraid this excessive security makes ProtonMail too difficult to use and therefore 2FA is not widely used. Login remembering or at least 2FA remember is a need for good user experience.
