    I would also prefer a less expensive plan, since I need very few of the features offered. But I would like to show my support of Proton, also. Even something like an "a la carte" type of pricing; each feature would have it's own price point.

    I agree. I would prefer the default to be "no notification", until I choose to set one. Not every calendar entry requires a notification.
